Up front - was this not the personnel we ended up with against Stoke ?

So it's how we ended up against Stoke apart from Hyam replacing Ayala, Dolan upfront will be a handful but can't see him being a goal threat 😕

So happy to see Adam Wharton in there and JRC out though.

Gutted that Ayala's out, we're going to struggle.

On the face of it looks like a tough night ahead.

On the other hand this could be a better footballing side, with more chance of keeping the ball and passing to our own players.

It makes sense to me to start Carter rather than Phillips. Madine and Yates are two bullying brutes and Carter will cope better with them.

This is the reason, why we have been calling for another CB signing, because there is just no guarantee that he stays fit. Crazy if we don't bring in another CB by close of the transfer window

He'll be consigned to the bench when Hirst is eligible, but yes right now he plays. Who else do we have - Vale, Burns and Leonard.

A CM at RB, a new central defensive pairing who have never played before, a midfield pairing who won't put a tackle in, and no out and out striker. 

The side is so unbalanced and will most likely lose tonight.

Buckley looked like he didn't know what a football was on Saturday. At least Dolan gave an enthusiastic performance.

ok line up,just don`t understand diaz out wide and dolan in the middle,given that ben is pretty good with his head and dolan has never headed a football in his life,pretty pointless pinging crosses in,everything will have to come through the middle or behind them
