How is it slating? He's looked weak defensively. Not too bad distribution wise.

It’s not the distribution it’s the obvious lack of athletic ability that is the concern.

Wells should have buried that. He had so much space too, all our lot ball watching.

Pickering is getting doubled up on, in some cases trebled. He’s not playing well but he’s also being left isolated.

That move was a lot better. Hirst unlucky to receive the ball slowly, as Hedges does really well to get it to him. Definite deflection.

It’s hard to get a feel for him. At times the ball sticking to his feet seem to help then others just slow it down.

If we’re going to be this ‘high press’ team that we keep hearing is JDTs style then:

1) we don’t have the physical attributes to do so (such a slow and weak team)

2) Hirst is 100% not the striker for that role.
