a fascinating divergence of opinion on here as to whether Hirst is worse than Szmodics. do you prefer strychnine or arsenic?

At least Szmodics has offered some goals and assists already. I'm yet to see Hirst contribute anything other than that shoddy attempt at a penalty last week.

Rovers need to increase the tempo and as we seen from a couple of decent moments we had that we cut through Wigan defence. I keep mentioning the tempo thing every game cos we haven't been good enough.

Surprised to see Hedges off.

fatigued I believe is the vogue word.

Jdt is desperately trying to prove hirst is a good signing by keeping him on.  Hoping he miraculously turns into ronaldo.  Rather than hook him off and keep on Hedges who can produce a bit of quality

According to my football app Hirst at 23 has scored 18 goals in 109 appearances. Doesn't bode that well.

If you take away last season in L1 he's got 3 goals in 65 games.......

If Trav was a new signing he would be slated. He's been awful these days.

Agree with this.

It's like his brain is slower than his feet (or vice versa) - but something doesn't seem quite right with him.

We need Dack or Wharton on.

Glad to have Gally on(never thought I’d ever say that!)for Hirst. Worst that Chris Brown and Ashley Ward.

Here’s what I don’t understand. We’ve subbed Brittain, Dolan and Gallagher on now. That means if we want to put Dack on, we can only really sub on BBD off, who’s our biggest threat.
