JohnD Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 We're definitely due a draw but I can't see us scoring 4. Away win 4-0 1 Quote
arealbrfcfan Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Is this game going ahead or are we still mourning? out of respect we should’nt play the game… that and I’m not feeling confident Quote
WacoRover Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 This game is a tremendous challenge. Getting some defenders back, we will need them. The midfield is where we need the most improvement, imo. Another of our toughest foes, it’s at home, but I am afraid that’s not enough, 1-2. Quote
rigger Posted September 12, 2022 Author Posted September 12, 2022 These are the type of games that will show us were we are this season. I prefer us playing against the so called better teams. I am looking forward to a Rovers win. Quote
Butty Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 I’d go TK Carter Wharton Ayala Hyam Edun/HP Trav Wharton Dolan Hirst BB Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 we simply can`t go into the game with the same formation as against bristol city,it`s the footballing equivalent of lemmings, pack the midfield out if you need to,but deny watford any space and make it hard for them 3 Quote

roversfan99 Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 The Wigan thread is closed but does anyone know if we can claim refunds on those tickets? Quote

I think that the game will have to be re-arranged before refunds are given out. It will be interesting if it is re-arranged for mid-week, will the price drop to £25 ? Quote

damo100 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 First sub 10k attendance of the season. Let's all thank Mr Cup of tea for his amazing ticket policies. Quote
Ossydave Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Baffles me the negativity from some fans of ours it really does. Yes it'll be a tricky game but to just write it off as a loss is bonkers. Watford haven't won a game away all season for crying out loud and that includes games against Rotherham, Birmingham, Preston. Are we really much worse than those?!? 1-1 draw. 5 Quote

Watford have played 4 away games, all draws, scoring no more than 1 goal per game with one game being 0-0. They are due a win or a loss. Edited September 13, 2022 by AllRoverAsia Quote

Mattyblue Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 With 8.5k ST holders, it won’t be a sub 10k crowd (well not officially). 1 Quote

You come across very well as a dyed in the wool Rovers fan, and there is a real sense of mutual respect around the contributors. Fair play to the Watford lads, who gave you the floor for a good portion of the 23 minutes. It has come to something though when we go into games (or even into a new season) feeling like the poor relations to clubs like Watford, Wigan, Luton & Hull... Tonight is a real test for JDT and his influence on the players. I expect Watford to fizz the ball about and to frustrate some of our play, and for them to be a real handful at the sharp end, depending upon who is fit to lead our back line.. I would like to see Rovers re-discover the swagger that potted Swansea, and the graft that carried us past West Brom. If we can put out a decent defence, we have some front line flair to hurt Watford with. A nervy 1-1 I think... A gutsy 2-0 I'd like... A gutted 0-2 I wouldn't be surprised... COYB! Quote

Bristol City got their first away win of the season at Ewood Park. We are ALWAYS the gift that keeps on giving with these types of things. 2 Quote
Mercer Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Can't call this without first seeing our line-up. If Ayala and Wharton back, think we might just sneak a win. If I like the look of our line-up will have a flutter on Rovers who are currently a shade better than 2/1. Quote
