Excellent second half, Morton man of the match by a large margin, but many others very good as well. S.Wharton and S.Szmodics chief among them, then Kaminski, Diaz and Pickering.
Hyam and Ayala a bit suspect at times, much improved from Travis.
Gallagher not too visible but worked hard as always. Hedges good again.

Great result. We improved as the game progressed and Rotherham faded after their first half.

Szmodics had a decent game as did most of the Rovers. Not a day to find major fault with any and Travis had his best performance for quite a while.

Intelligent use of Hedges by JDT,,quite the utility player!

Can see the athleticism & mobility in Szmodics game brings something different to the party.

Need to sort out a penalty-taker for when BBD isnt on the field(we should get a few more penalties in the months ahead given the way we play).

Well done Rovers - a much needed win.

A crazy, crazy league - level pegging for 6th and 3 points off top two.  If we can only find some consistency outside the bizarre wlwlwlwlw results sequence.

Dilemma - DW on Tuesday (freebie offer but oh that bloody sequence with a loss due next) or feet up in front of Sky Tv with a nice bottle of wine!

Good bounce-back win after the no-show at Cardiff. This WL sequence is bizarre - can't remember anything like it. Time to break the mould at Wigan on Tuesday

Great for the feel good factor that. The penalty seemed to settle us down, as I thought we were nervous before that.

Morton was much better today and I thought Szmodics was much improved too. Great to see him score. Also that Brereton looked sharp again and Travis had a far better game too.

League looks right and despite our short comings, we are in the mix.

If we play and we are crap then there is no point in glossing over it.

If we put on a decent show and get a result then everyone is happy.

It's a results' industry.  That is the reality.

The see-saw continues...we got a goal in and we look so solid...the opposite and we are thinking about the next game...gotta keep trying.

Lowest attendance of season though?

JDT is going a long way to tossing all the initial good will that was coming his way into the garbage can with these Mowbray like decisions.

Spent money on a specialised right back/right wing back who has started well and he decides to drop him to play arguably our best attacker there out of position.

Still not given Dack a chance even after he at least showed something more than SS against Cardiff.

And no Wharton instead sticking with the tried and trusted. Tried and trusted being Morton and Travis who have failed in midfield for the last few games

Don't mind me, just tucking into this extra helping of humble pie served up with a side of egg on my face!!😁

Doff of the cap young Szmodics! Goal and assist, massive contribution

Really pleased to see Sam S get a goal and an assist today - I think he's a very decent player at this level, but needs to keep that kind of return up.

Hedges seem to put a decent shift in wherever he plays and Morton was very good today.

Pleasing to see the back 3 looking solid, Pickering did well again and 2 goals for BBD.

All in all, good day for us. Hopefully we can break our WLWLWLWLW run against the pie eaters in midweek and keep pace with the top couple of teams.

Rare chance to see today's game and I'm happy I got to. Tactically spot on, which makes the days where it's tactically off so much more frustrating. Hedges, Morton & a few others had 9/10 out of 10 games, everyone else a very steady 7. Need to string some of these games together now.

Our Jekyll and Hyde season carried on today as we put the last three games to bed with a good performance in which the collective excelled rather than individuals. The marked difference today for me was the speed in which we passed the ball, the movement and intensity. I was surprised actually that Rotherham allowed us to play rather than smothering us in midfield and we took advantage of this and played forward more today than we have in the last three games combined. I thought the score reflected the game as we were better all over the pitch. The real challenge is stringing together similar performances and results over the next month.

Sat in front of us today were several Rovers supporting Dubliners who really enjoyed the game and the result after flying in today. If any of you post on here and read this I hope you enjoyed Blackburn and it's nightlife. I know you certainty enjoyed the game 😁😁.
