Unbelievable, against run of play 2-1 but if I'm honest, no one was getting stuck in thinking the half was over.

Daft from Rovers.

Playing really well however that conceding in the very last minute is simply not good enough. Sets the second half to be a very nervy one.

Can see Boro getting back into this.

Postiives…A Wharton is making a huge difference.

Boro didn't deserve that goal, Rovers like to gift teams goals.

Really was a gift. Unacceptable after a great first half. We always make it difficult.

Two goals conceded in two games that were easily avoided.

Great half where we did everything really well except the last minute of the half.  Combination of several individual errors... not closing, Phillips and Brittain not picking up their man. Annoying as we have really restricted Boro till that point.

Need to just stick with it, we should be able to maintain our dominance. We'll get a lot of chances on the counter.

Muniz is an absolute cunt

I had as a twat but I think you are correct.

Deliberate stamp, should have been red. He even changed direction to do it, so bloody obvious.

Great first half, tainted by the late goal. Midfield should have been tighter but Shyam also dropped behind Phillips to keep Watmore on. Got to come out sharp and get the next goal.

Shame to concede when we did, but otherwise, very good first half.

Really pleased for Gallagher, I've always said he'd get a good 15-20 goals if he was played as an out-and-out striker in this division (and you gave him the ammunition). But for their GK, he has 3/4 in that first half alone.

A.Wharton is a class above, even at this age.

Boro are shite and their fans are on their backs. We'll go on and win this one quite comfortably.

VAR would probably still have been yellow. Didn't look forceful enough on the replay for a red imo.

And if he went off probably Travis would have too for raising his hands.

Really poor time to concede after a good performance, it felt when Gallagher missed a few chances and when Brittain missed a one on one that it could cost us and

Adam Wharton has been the best player, Morton has also done well bar one big mistake and Gallagher has been good but needed to be more ruthless.

Phillips poor positioning

Between him and Hyam there. One is holding the line the other dropping deep. For me Hyam has the position to see Phillips holding higher and has to stop drifting towards his own goal.

He stepped on, deliberately, to get over.

I agree Gallagher with a proper forward partner playing narrow, fed by a number 10 in behind and wing backs sending it in is perfect for him. He's someone who is always going to struggle tightly marked or expected to carry the ball, but give him the support and let him play through the middle onto through balls and crosses and he will do well.
