Apparently its quite cool in the stadium, the only really high temperature is the heat map in the Qatar half of the pitch.

I really did think Qatar would be better than that.

It was not offside. Not when in happened, not when VAR decided it was and not when the photo shopped pic was shown.

Why did you think Qatar would be better than that? How many professional football players does that country even have?

The 8 stadiums for the world cup look very impressive. I think the Al Janoub stadium, Khalifa International stadium and Education City stadium look fantastic and impressive stadiums

No third world workers died or their human or employments rights abused in the construction of these stadia

What David Beckham won't be saying as he walks away with a £10m cheque from the Qataris to promote the tournament

Did anybody else notice how the stadium was emptying rapidly after the 70 minute mark? Edit: just seen a Sky News article suggesting the same.

I don't mean to be presumptuous, but unless it was prayer time, it says a lot about how much Qatar deserves to host a football tournament of this magnitude. None of them really give a toss about the game.

Strange that the fans wearing kits singing behind the goals where the ones that stayed. Almost as if they where paid to be there for the duration?

Just seen more articles claiming thousands left at half time. At 2-0 down, I can only conclude they're all Rovers fans and decided to call it a night.

This was the strangest World Cup game I've ever watched. In that sense, I suppose it was somewhat entertaining, with plenty of comedy gold. But I couldn't help but think how wrong it was. It stinks of bribery and corruption. It'll take a decade or two for things to come out of the woodwork, by which time FIFA will have kept a lower profile, and people will care less than they do now while it's fresh.

Says in the Daily Mail that the side tomorrow will likely be Pickford, Trippier, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Mount, Bellingham, Saka, Sterling and Kane. Southgates continued inability to fully utilise Foden is criminal.

Mount ahead of foden? I think mount is a wonderful player but foden is generational

Sterling's done nothing this season to warrant being first choice.  England will be favourites to win according to the fans but it always pays to be contrarian. Stick a little bet on

England 1 Iran 1

Take it u won't watch tomorrow as u never have anything good to say about England

Mount is ok. Sterling also far less deserving of a start.

Keep slagging him lads, cos everytime that happens he seems to end up goalscorer and match winner.

It's a tried and tested formula.

To be fair, you could have said the same about yourself and Rovers in recent years!

I hope he does, but I dont think the opinions are unfair, especially compared to Foden who I think is a brilliant player.

Mount is very talented player and in decent form. Sterling record for England is very good. His pace is what we need. I would start Foden over Saka

He will never change with his negative attitude towards his country in whatever it is.

I admit I slagged rovers off because of Mowbray.  Not slagging a whole country like Jim does

Saka is deserving of his place, has been performing very well for a while and offers real pace. Performing at a level far above Sterling and Mount.

Gary Lineker also has a very good record for England

Saka is another generational talent the way he turned the game against Germany.  But sterling plays well for England.  I think the depth of attacking talent we have is unreal
