My first instinct was the ball was over the line and that picture looks conclusive. Expect a complaint from Germany - and perhaps with good reason

I agree,its not what is touching the grass that has to be over its all of the ball as if you are looking at it from about,theres not much in it but its not all over

Exactly, not all of the ball is over all of the line. You need to see an imaginary line dropped down from the edge of the ball.

Top down view may show the very edge of the ball curve being at the line.

From that picture posted it looks in. Some of the shots on TV it looked a little further over though but it only needs the smallest fractions to be in

For a brief moment .. a dream was about to come true, shame Costa Rica couldn't hold on to a win, what a night that would of been, Spain and Germany going home lol 

Nice to see the Germans knocked out though, love some of their players but hate the national team itself..

Amazing that Germany have failed to progress from the group stages in two consecutive WC tournaments now, and neither were exactly what would be classified as a group of death. We also humbled them in between at the Euros. After such a long period of international dominance it's really something to see Germany at such a low point.

if things go as expected tomorrow its looking like Englands route to winning it all will now be Senegal,France,Spain and then Brazil in the Final,If that happens i'll be amazed.

Would basically be the opposite of 2018, from one of the easiest to one of the hardest routes.
