jim mk2 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 England will be glad to take a draw. Southgate has been comprehensively out thought by the US manager tonight Quote

matt83 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Fucking hell. Lee Dixon: “when you get a point the opposition haven’t got 3.” It’s the usa not Brazil. 2 Quote
Ianrally Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 (edited) The commentators don’t half bull up some of players.,the top and bottom of it is they are not as good as we are constantly told they are. Edited November 25, 2022 by Ianrally 1 Quote

ITV have Dixon and BBC have Jenas on England games, how boring bland can you get,are there not any better ex England players with a personality you can have to replace those 2 2 Quote

Ianrally Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 So very very close? It was four yards wide man.!!! 2 Quote
Darrenbot Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Splatterface saying Kane got so very close as the replay shows him heading it a mile wide 1 Quote
matt83 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Tbf no stoppages because nothing has happened Quote
Mashed Potatoes Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Disappointing performance but the essential thing is to get through the qualifying round and we would have to lose to Wales by a 4 goal margin not to do so, so job done. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 i feel like ive`e watched a rovers away game, plenty of possesion but **** all end product,at least i hav`nt paid my hard earned to watch this one🤔 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 25, 2022 Backroom Posted November 25, 2022 Garbage performance. Set up incorrectly from the start and never fixed. No idea what our aim was in this match, beyond boring the viewing audience to tears. Back down to Earth with a thud I'm afraid. The US certainly deserve their point, we didn't really deserve anything. Our best hope is that, as per the last two tournaments we mostly face teams fairly far below us in terms of natural ability, because it seems likely based on recent form and tonight's showing that any team on a similar level will handle us with ease. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Hats off to the US coach. Good tactical performance by him. Maguire played well for England and he had to but that’s about it. 3 Quote
Ianrally Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 That’s right Mount give your mate Pulisic a cuddle. Quote

I agree about Mount but Maguire has been the best of a bad bunch tonight. Saka particularly bad along with Sterling. Bellingham couldn’t get in the game. Bottom line - they were running, we were walking. That will have cheered Wales up no end. Edited November 25, 2022 by Tyrone Shoelaces Quote
Backroom Mike E Posted November 25, 2022 Backroom Posted November 25, 2022 We're through as long as Wales don't beat us by a 3-goal margin or more. 1 Quote

Maguire the stand out top performer for England.. Mount is getting a lot of stick. He was below average, Saka was fecking shite along with most others. Edited November 25, 2022 by AllRoverAsia Quote
bazza Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Good game of intelligent football from both sides. USA were the better side for 60 minutes but after our subs we upped our game. 0-0 a fair result. Moreover, no histrionics, no rolling over and over, no diving, no cheating, no play-acting. No yellow cards. Easy game for a good ref. I'll take that. Quote

jim mk2 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Team needs a shake up. Mount and Sterling at least to be dropped. I’d rest Kane too. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 if we end up playing france, brazil or spain then gareth will have to change personel and tactics,as it stands, vinicius jnr or mbappe would have a bleeding field day 2 Quote

Maguire has played well so far this tournament but i still worry someone speedy like an Mbappe will run him ragged in the knockout stages. 1 Quote
