I love saka cracking talent but rashford should have started. I've heard rashford is dropped because with no sterling we have no place on the bench. It's a negative mindset to have thinking we might need pace later on. Go at them straight away and put them away then use technical players to see out the game

can see quite few goals tonight, got a 4-2or 4-1 look about it,to the winner the spoils, make the most of it because neither senegal or england will beat france

I fancy our chances against France. They haven't hit any heights yet

have you seen how they play, they are a bad match up for us,unless southgate comes up with a completely new game plan they`ll slaughter us,gareth does`nt do tactical shifts though,in fact he does`nt have much idea imo, especially when the match starts

They are better than us but not superior. Our midfield is better than theirs. Of course Mbappe is a massive threat.  They've been underwhelming in the games I've watched but mbappe is their get out of jail card

solid at the back and very dangerous on the counter attack with bags of pace, griezeman is a fantastic player who links the play brilliantly, far to much pace and nous for us

I know I sound like a stuck record but griezmann is well past his best.  He's been shit for atleti.

“Senegal shouldn’t be discounted or dismissed, they’re African champions.” I wouldn’t expect any professional to dismiss any opponent. However, it’s bloody Senegal. If hand picked a realistic knockout opponent wouldn’t look much past the likes of Senegal. None of this lot would make an England 4th xi. That’s not to say they can’t win or won’t win, England can cock up any match. But should we fail to progress here it’ll be a national disgrace up there with Iceland, etc, etc

Mendy is better than Pickford.
Koudibaly is better than Maguire.
Mane, if fit, is better than Sterling, Saka and Grealish.

Just now, Silas said:

C'mon Maguire, prove me and all your other doubters wrong.

Have a stormer.

Less of the scary bad touches at the back please.

He’s yet to make many cock ups for England and I watch us a lot. Admittedly players running at him is quite terrifying but as yet, no complaints.

Looking more like a carthorse so far,Mbappe would rip him to shreads in the QF if we get through

I like the bloke, and want him to do well.

His distribution when given time and space is excellent.

But the rest of it, i.e. when under pressure, make my heart jump 20 bpm. Can't help it, it's an involuntary biological reaction now.
