jim mk2 Posted November 1, 2022 Author Posted November 1, 2022 Vale of despair. The lad can’t do the basics 2 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 vale looks very much like rankin costello in the way neither of them look like they belong at this level Quote
CambridgeRover Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I like Wharton's selection of passes, not too defensive 1 Quote

It's hard not to enjoy but it's hard not to criticise most weeks and it's not being negative. This is awful and the team selection was all wrong. Quote
Miller11 Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Pickering on for Vale. Get Brittain in his proper position and Travis in the middle to hopefully cut out some of those through balls. 2 Quote
moerpho Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 This will surely come back to bite me but it is still 0-0 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Pretty sure we'll lose this one 3 Quote
LDRover Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Vale really has to do better here, he's been very poor so far Quote
yankfan Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Seen this script before. On the back foot. Playing too deep, square in the middle, isolated up top. Lucky to be even Quote
Armchair supporter supremo Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 (edited) really don't understand what the manager sees in Vale! just so ordinary and doesn't seem a threat at all ever! I can only think JDT sees him as some kind of blank slate that he can mould into the kind of forward he became. I want the lad to do well, but if he doesn't do anything of note tonight then he needs to be out of the 1st team and shipped out on loan as soon as poss Edited November 1, 2022 by Armchair supporter supremo 1 Quote

Will just have to hope he can nick a goal from somewhere to boost his confidence a little. 4 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Gut away with that one, looks like it should've been a pen. 1 Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Coventry battering us at the minute only a matter of time, this could be another reading, Wigan and Cardiff type game ..we look poor at the minute Really don't know how we play like this sometimes 2 Quote
Backroom Silas Posted November 1, 2022 Backroom Posted November 1, 2022 Our tactics are what I do on PlayStation. Keep smashing the through ball button and hope one comes off eventually. 🤞 8 Quote
BigBar Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Average teams have gotten promoted from this league many times...maybe it's our time? We've had alot if luck so far this season and won games that could have gone either way. Funny old game. Quote
yankfan Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 We can’t find an outlet. Vale incapable of holding the play up. Szmodics very deep to get involved. Like playing with 9 in the back. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Our passing is very sloppy, and we can't keep the ball. We can't control the centre midfield area. The Pitch is awful btw. 1 Quote
BigBar Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Scott Wharton's passing has been atrocious. 3 Quote
roverandout Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Get Travis I'm the middle. Bring on pickering for vale Quote

The ghost of Tony Mowbray and his dislike of centre forwards still haunts the club (along with Gregg Broughton's bizarre belief that Hirst is the answer). Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Hyam bailing us out there, what was Ayala doing? 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Hyam would a great challenge there otherwise O'Hara would probably score 1 Quote
superniko Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 No idea how they didn’t score there. We look a bit all over the show (said that so many times this season despite being 2nd). Defence giving it away a lot passing it about and Szmodics a few times with risky cross fields passes. Dack on for Vale and Pickering for Morton and switch full backs around with Travis in the middle Quote
