It’s about being relentless now, that is what football is really, especially in the EFL. 46 games of really hard work and it can be a slog but if you’re successful, it can be really worth it.” 7 Quote

He's got some decent forwards at Luton of the quality that we aren't ever likely to see, thanks to our recruitment policy, or lack of. Can we swap Vale and Gallagher for Morris and Adebayo? Quote

Then was unceremoniously sacked before October? No ta. 1 Quote

Backroom Madon Posted February 7, 2023 Backroom Posted February 7, 2023 Presumably he supports us with being local but it's bizarre he's in a box with those. Quote
Andy Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I read last night that Jones has been training with us recently, but no idea if there’s anything in that. Even if United released him from his contract, we wouldn’t be able to sign him until the summer. That said, I’d take him (injury record and all), on a heavily permanent-related incentivised contract. 1 Quote
TheRevAshton Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 If he could stay fit and is willing take a big wage cut, i'd love Jones back - would add some steel and passion to the side, both of which we're desperately lacking. 2 Quote
ElTwis Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 We don't realistically need another cebtre back but I always thought Jones could be converted to defensive mid, before he left I'm sure he played there a couple of times. Stranger things have happened I guess although I've no idea how we'd get round the wages issue 1 Quote

Penwortham Blue Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I wonder when we can expect to get a 5 minute warning of O’Brien, not revealed. Given the Club’s form, probably by the weekend, if they bother at all 🙈 Quote
