I have seen Mola a couple of times for the U21s, he looks impressive when he is on the left side of midfield. He has a tendency to drift from center-half into his favoured midfield position. I think he will make first team, either on the left of a midfield three, or left wing-back /full-back Quote
Guest Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I was impressed by Mola. He deserves a lot of credit for keeping West Ham at bay as much as possible. He was also unlucky to have a blatant free-kick not awarded in the lead up to West Ham's first goal. A shame his involvement was over straight after West Ham's second goal, but he'd been run ragged by that point. I'd give Man of the Match to Brereton-Diaz due to his excellent equaliser off the bench to take us to penalties, followed by a top drawer penalty to set the tone. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Yeah I must admit it looked a foul where I was sat and other than that did really well. Didn’t realise he was on loan. Be intresting to see how he kicks on and if he gets signed permanently Quote
Trinidad Rover Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Mola was extremely impressive on Wednesday. Read the game very well against a tricky opponent in Antonio. Their first goal was a definite shove. His ability on the ball stood out - i can see what JDT likes about him if he wants to continue possession based football, building from the back etc. I would be interested to see how he would get on in a midfield 3. Tin hat time butI think he would be a better option than Travis there. 1 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I like Mola, reckon he will deputise for Scott Wharton next time hes out. Edun also lioks like he deserves a crack at left wing back if Pickering becomes unavailable. Its really an extraordinary set of young players we have. Quote
