The game should be on. The pitch is looking from what one people has said. The main roads are clearly and Rovers just need to grit the areas around the stadium. Its will melt quickly as well as the day go on. No freezing temperatures until later in the day

Just called the club about picking up tickets, and they confirmed the pitch has been checked and the game is on!

I still picture them all stood around saying: “I thought you said you’d put the under soil heating on…well I thought you said you’d done it…tell them it’s on and we’ll think of something.”

Swag will be up livsey branch road as we speak watering the pavements to deflect blame

I'm giving it a miss today, it's usually an hour's drive for me which last season took nearly 3 hours, only to get within 500yds of Ewood for it to be postponed. I can't afford to waste that amount of diesel this year!

It's surely got to be on.

Still remember well playing Bolton away on boxing day one year when all the surrounding car parks etc were sheer black ice and nobody batted an eyelid! Surrounding areas my arse.

We need a proper performance to day. A repeat of the recent Dingle Disaster will not be tolerated. I hope he’s made that crystal clear to the players.

Hopefully the road to redemption starts today with a win and if that is supplemented by a good performance then great. I do fear though that Ched Evans will do a Barnes and bully our centre halves. I want to see us snapping into tackles all over the pitch, moving the ball quickly with purpose and ninety minutes of intensity. As results have proved so far this season scoring first is vital. If it's not us getting that then I think Tomasson might be in for rude awakening.

Snowing quite heavily at the moment. Should be on but I’m getting Millwall deja vu.

We had a snow shower here in Penwortham which stopped about 20 minutes ago. I suspect it’s the same one crossing Blackburn now.

Completely fine all around the stadium. Roads all clear too. Not snowing here either.
Pitch looks perfect too so I’d be amazed if the game isn’t on.
