benhben Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 (edited) Wow what an absolute shambles. The start of a Tomasson death spiral....lost my faith in him. Edited December 29, 2022 by benhben Quote

Dan Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Down to 9 men with Gally on, may as well bring Hirst on and put us down the 8. 1 Quote
Mr. E Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 These 10 minutes are pretty much a season killer. All momentum and positivity is dead and buried after this. 1 Quote
TimmyJimmy Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Anyone know whar rule was broken for the sending off? Quote
davulsukur Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 We're getting absolutely rinsed here now. 1-4 I reckon in the end. Quote

booth Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 This is why the likes of Gallagher can't keep missing chances that better players would put away. We should have been at least 2-0 up by half time. Crap referee though. 1 Quote
neophox Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Never a red card.... never....ridiculous decision... 1 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2022 Backroom Posted December 29, 2022 For what it's worth I think we would have lost anyway, because our terrible performances are finally being reflected in our results, but unless something unsighted occurred that was never a red for Buckley. It'll surely be rescinded, but it's of scant consolation assuming we now go on to lose. 1 Quote
Backroom Silas Posted December 29, 2022 Backroom Posted December 29, 2022 How ever ridiculous that red looks to us.....I doubt it gets rescinded on appeal. 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 The new run... score first and lose. 3 Quote

Sorry why are you using me to direct your frustrations. They clearly lie with Buckley. All the time? Last time you've seen it? I don't recall one lately...what's he at anyway? Just mucking about in a game with desperately want to win. 1 Quote
Adam C Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Good there from hedges and Brereton but final ball lacking. Hedges has improved a lot this season. Need BBD to get his shooting boots back on. Remember when he was overflowing with confidence? Made such a difference. Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Another ex United player turned manager who the Refs give dodgy decisions too! Quote
Ianrally Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 How can a PNE supporter be given the refs appointment. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 We’re now losing games where we lead - which just wasn’t happening for the first half of the season. We are going to nosedive down the league. 3 Quote
superniko Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Buckley giving away a penalty and a petulant red card within a week. Back to the reserves for the rest of the season little boy. 4 Quote

Conceded early in the second, but the red card is what’s killed us here. I’m pretty sure JDT’s instructions to Buckley at HT wasn’t ‘go and get yourself sent off nice and early lad’. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 There's always some excuse whether it was under Mowbray or JDT. Fifth defeat in six competitive matches incoming. Plus ca change. 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Suicidal football with 10 men now. We seem intent on losing. 1 Quote

If we keep JDT we will be in a relegation battle before we know it. Quote

Problem is you can't rely on one player for the entire season, as we found out last season when BBD got injured and we bombed out of the playoffs in spectacular fashion. Our other forwards need to step up, but by and large they aren't very good. Gallagher's four goals and one assist are being touted as a revelation season for him, which kind of says it all. 1 Quote
