Obviously doesn't seem good enough to be first, second or even third choice but wonder could he be ok as a proper reserve team player? Thoughts? Think he has the makings of a decent League 1/League 2 player. Expect that once we get a little more depth that's where he'll end up, either on loan or permanently. In the meantime just have to hope he's in the right place at the right time to nick a few goals for us, as Nuttall managed before finding his proper level (although admittedly I didn't think Nuttall would be playing as far down as the National League at just 25). 2 Quote

Miller11 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Almost unwatchable in ESPN. Is it being shown on any other channels at all? Quote

Bethnal Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Markanday is a very silky player. Norwich can’t get near him on the ball and he releases in good time. Has to be getting more game time. Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 BBD should of shot, brilliant from markandy Quote

But that will come and you’re right, he moves forward positively with the ball. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Apparently Norwich are slowly starting to turn the screw in front of their own fans according to this commentator - which is an entirely different game to the one I'm watching. 1 Quote
Bethnal Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Luckily I’ve got the Cardiff game on in the background, which is a good watch. Quote

He’s not yet a starter but when we’re trying to break down a team late on, he would be very useful. Ironically, he’s just been instrumental in that goal with his press! WacoRover Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Huge mistake by canaries, but I will gladly take it. It’s good to see us capitalize on errors. Quote

Guest Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Great combination of pressing, awareness and cool heads - Glad to see it isn't only Rovers who piss about with the ball in suicidal positions! Quote
Backroom DE. Posted January 8, 2023 Backroom Posted January 8, 2023 Can only be a good thing to have Vale's confidence boosted. 4 Quote
