Gobshite On the contrary JDT clearly believes Wharton is a brilliant player, but he's 18 with maturity issues. 4 Quote

callumrovers Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Hand ball all day long by slab head. 6 Quote
Tugayisgod Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 If Steve Clarke believes Hanley is better than Hyam then I give up. Don't know what he needs to do to get a call up 6 Quote
roverandout Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Wtf does Travis offer? Hes absolutely awful Quote
J*B Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Jheez Travis. Keep it simple. He’s really struggling to understand when the instruction from the coach. 3 Quote
WacoRover Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 All our youngsters have impressed me. keep it up, lads… 5 Quote
JohnD Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Really under the cosh but everyone digging in and playing their part except perhaps Travis 1 Quote
Backroom Silas Posted January 8, 2023 Backroom Posted January 8, 2023 Travis might as well be in yellow at this point. More frustrating than the glitchy feed, which takes some doing. 1 Quote
callumrovers Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Slab head again, such a clumsy mf. 1 Quote
Bethnal Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Morton on instead of Wharton seems like a pointed message to the latter. Weird thing to hold a grudge against a teenager when you’re JDT’s age. 5 Quote

roverandout Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I would be asking to be off if I was Wharton when trash like Travis starts ahead of him 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted January 8, 2023 Backroom Posted January 8, 2023 Have to say this game has reminded me why I wasn't particularly bothered when Hanley left. So clumsy. 4 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 This ref has given us nothing. I've lost count of the number of times our players have been bowled over without a free kick. Quote

Neutral Don Goodman said it was the best debut he'd EVER seen in all his years in football. And we've barely seen him since. Something doesn't add up. 3 Quote

I wonder if it is at least partly due to injuries and being overplayed when not fit in the past. There was a time that he looked destined for the Premier League. This season, all the CMs, have been inconsistent with Morton and Travis struggling more recently, Buckley being dropped out of the squad. Garrett and Wharton haven't played that many games, so hard to judge. I wonder whether they're struggling to get to grips with JDT's tactics, in part, which, as far as I get, is a minimal touch - one or two touch, expectation. 2 Quote
