Dack should AT LEAST have hit the target with his header. Hedges and Gallagher should both have scored. End of. Agree with all of that and we will have chances to turn it around in this half too Quote

The only thing I have taken in, is that Gallaghers commentary for radio Lancs is as bad as Gallaghers performance on the pitch. I'm listening to Radio 5 and they interrupted chatting about the Manchester Derby to go over to Rotherham "where there's a surprise." "Not to Rovers' fans.", I thought before hearing the grimly predictable score. Quote

OsloRover Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) I think the only sensible thing to do is get Dolan on for Vale, Markanday for Hedges and Travis for Garrett. Put Dolan left and Gally up front. Edited January 14, 2023 by OsloRover Sp Quote

I can't emphasise enough how bad those Gallagher and Hedges misses are - the Dack one should have been slotted away too if we're honest. Much like the Boro and Cardiff games, we're dying for a proper #9 to put the bloody ball in the back of the net. I'm glad someone else can see it the way I do. Our forward players are really letting us down. And it's not like it didn't happen under Mowbray. It was that fucker that assembled a team without a decent number 9. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 i think jdt mindset is still in sweden where the game is played far slower 1 Quote

BigBar Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Replaying the goal on the analysis and that pass from Pickering really was criminal. Game just started and it put us immediately on the backdoor. So avoidable. Get it down the line and get your bearings so early in the game. 5 Quote

I don't JDT will be too disappointed, we could be 2 or 3 - 1 up. 10 more mins, see how we do then look at Dolan and Markanday. Hope someone has given Gallagher a bollocking. Wake him up a bit Quote

I would like to see Dolan on soon. His pace, movement could be key here so we having 3 good chances then? One thing I’ve noticed in the Championship over the last few winters is that once the pitches start to deteriorate our form drops considerably. We obviously have the better footballers today but conditions don’t always allow for over technical football and we have struggled to just grind out results and put physical performances in that are sometimes needed at time of the year. Like we have a lightweight midfield n our wing backs are a bit soft too. We are lacking a bit of muscle when it gets a bit tough. Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 The other thing screaming out in this performance, as it does every week, is that we have absolutely no pace. 1 Quote

Don't get me wrong I think he's played pretty well, but the extent to which he's overhyped on here compared to Hedges, Morton etc is hilarious. It would be hard for Morton to misplace a pass as it never go more than 5 yards. 1 Quote
