v Birmingham FA Cup 4th Round replay - 31/1/23

Some comments from the Lancashire Telegraph reckon JDTs not good enough and the clubs a shambles. When was the last time Blackburn Rovers went through to the 5th round  of both FA and Caribou (league cup) , besides this there still in the top 6 in the Championship. And JDTs still to bring his own players in.

Don’t know without looking but we haven’t managed that this year either 😝

jdt`s football is shocking, boring and does`nt inspire any hope imo,we should be buzzing for every game at the moment, all i feel personally is we are going through the motions and sooner or later a big losing run is inevitable

He won't be able to bring his own players in that's the part of this fabled 'project' that doesn't add up.

He'll be able to bring some players in but that's slightly different and it all rests on the recruitment dept finding players like the one's he'd like to bring in but can't. The B or C side versions that don't cost much if anything or the kiddies versions were he might be able to coach them into what he wants.

And even then there's a huge odds against us actually getting therm signed.

JDT’s good enough. But the club is a shambles.

I felt that way about Mowbray. The majority of players just aren't good enough after years of bad recruitment. Well, that and relying on youth too much.
