superniko Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 That was awful from Brereton, not sure how he is holding his place lately, especially considering he doesn’t want to hang around here. 1 Quote

OsloRover Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 New boy Thomas making the rookie mistake of playing it forward thinking we have someone up front who can hold the ball up Quote
jim mk2 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Top class strikers don't miss those. He knew where the ball was and should have had his eyes on the keeper to watch his movement. Poor Quote
Gav Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 New lad looking at home, some nice touches and link up play. 2 Quote
J*B Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 11:15 as I’m typing this and I don’t think Vale’s touched it yet. More to follow. Quote

ItsRoverZ Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 We lack fight in key areas of the pitch, lightweight in the middle and our striker can't make the ball stick up top with him Wigan are playing very well, we look poor Quote

booth Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Should be 1-0 up. How many times are our forwards going to let us down? Quote

RTM08 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Unsurprisingly only swapping a nonexistent striker for a winger in January has not improved our play one bit. Good job everyone! Quote
Bethnal Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 You can see Wigan are more energised but they still look a poor side. We look alarmingly poor, really. Brereton puts that away and we’d be building into it but it looks very disjointed still. I hate to give a young lad grief but Vale is miler away from convincing me he’s cut out for this level. Postionally poor, visibly lazy and just no strength/power about him. Not smart enough to be a small, poacher-type either. Must be pulling up forests in training as he’s not shown me much on the pitch ever. This’ll be a draw, but both teams look vulnerable to conceding. Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Bottom team well on top here, but we could be 2 up if only. Quote
superniko Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 We’re looking worse and worse as the weeks progress. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Why isn't that a yellow for McClean? Quote

Compare him to Simon Garner when he first came to Ewood from non league at a similar age. Chalk and cheese in every way. 2 Quote
