O'Brien would have been the end of Buckley so it really was a double kick in the balls. At least they recognised where the problem area is.

Vale out on the touch with 2 defenders round him...... he should be all arms, legs, arse and elbows to protect the ball but he just gives it away. No physicality at all

Yeah I always liked him but his form this season was worthy of being dropped, you have to be fair but decent tonight.

Thomas looks an improvement on what we had, both physically, but also as a proper winger. 
Would like to see himself and Hedges wide.

Would have been nice alongside an O’Brien / Wharton midfield

Dack has found some lovely passes at times tonight. Vale is at nothing, hard to watch him struggle so bad. Needs to come off.

Loads of space between our CBS and midfielders. Buckley and Travis neither forward it back.

Been impressed with Travis - he looks way sharper. Defence has all looked good. Carter and Wharton move the ball a lot quicker than Hyam and Ayala.

Buckley having a game to forget and Vale is just a black hole for me. Heres Gallagher....

Thomas has been very good.
