Even if Pep did think that City were in the wrong, he wouldn't admit it publically.

For starters, it would compromise their case.

Pep would have been reassured by the City owners and directors including 2 people he has known since his Barcelona days and if he felt in any way he was being lied to he would walk out on City.

I guess we'll see. There's every chance he's been lied to, mind. The City wrap sheet is massive - maybe he just knows that any consequences will be a few years down the line and he'll be gone anyway? I wouldn't base City's innocence on Pep's press conference, his remit (if like any other manager) is self preservation.
