At least Big Sam would throw the kitchen sink in the last 10 mins ic possible - I can't imagine this team pushing to chase a goal at any scoreline. 2 Quote

It’s just not working. Have you ever seen him win a contested header? He gets bullied when going up against CBs. There's a reason he's played out wide - his strength is running at players with the ball. 3 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted February 15, 2023 Author Posted February 15, 2023 Half time nil nil. very even game. Good overall performance 1 good chance each. Need to press high more. WBA don't look conformable at the back Quote

When they do score, I'm fearing it will be him at fault. Huh, commentators were saying he had a very confident start to the game, sounded like he was playing well. I'm not watching though. Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 not a bad half from us,apart from 10 minutes we hav`nt really been tested, nothing going forwards though😥 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 How did Travis bugger up that chance at the end? He’s such a poor footballer. 2 Quote

Miller11 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 I like the way West Brom play. Jealous of the way the way they play on the front foot and get balls into the box. That said I’m really impressed with how we’ve dealt with it so far. Defending really well, Scott Wharton especially. Brereton is far too wide, but I’m far more annoyed about Morton being persisted with. 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted February 15, 2023 Backroom Posted February 15, 2023 Diaz and Thomas disappointing there, neither could complain at being hooked at half time. One decent stop by Pears and a couple of half chances but relatively comfy. Their keeper looks dodgy need to test him 1 Quote

Ossydave Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Not too bad whilst not being amazing either. You do only have to look at West Broms defensive record at home though to see its gonna be tough. Scott Wharton has been superb, not much support from his brother though who's at the Emirates tonight 😏 1 Quote

Exactly, there's a reason the WBA players and crowd are whinging for everything, they know this is going to be a tough win. Sadly our lack of in-form attacking players is showing again. Dolan has been in their CB's pockets, Dack has done nothing (besides gifting them a chance) and Brereton-Diaz has been very quiet again. Thomas is getting into good positions, but he's not been able to do anything with them yet. Morton is shocking by the way. 1 Quote
BigBar Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Out of interest how do people know A Wharton is at the Emerites tonight? Has he posted something? Quote
