Good win. If you can't beat bottom of the league, even with injuries, then you aren't going to get playoffs. With results in our favour elsewhere too, it is good to climb back into the playoffs. Also, in a way, makes the last 2 hard fought draws more worthwhile as 5 PTS from the last 3 games is a solid haul. A lot of football still to play but am glad we are still putting up a fight for playoffs.

It’s two wins and a draw from the last three and 7 points. Very happy with that.

we`ve seen some shockingly dull football from rovers this season, but the last 4 games we`ve actually started to look a bit more ambitious, still a lot of work to do  though,we still **** around and slow the game down to much for my liking

8 points from the last 4 games. Great stuff!

First time in 10 years that we've had good defenders. What a difference it makes.

Back to the classic days of the Gordon Lee & Howard Kendall eras. Don't concede, and you're sure of at least one point from every game.

Very content. Well done to all. A nervous final few minutes but we got there.

Travis had his best game for ages. Szmodics too. Brittain and Dolan were standouts. Thomas good in patches. All of our defence put a shift in.

Gallagher runs around a lot. Not much else. Vale doesn't.

I've been critical if JDT but somehow he's got us back in the playoff positions. Long way still to go but with a number of teams around us with no standouts we่ have as good a chance as any of them. Well done JDT.

We’re down to the bare bones at the moment but I can’t fault the the guys who are wearing the shirt.

Keep the points coming lads!

Travis and Brittain impressed tonight, just missing that goal scorer to put away those chances.

We seemed reluctant to shoot tonight, not sure why Hedges decided to flick the ball back to Dolan when in a decent goal scoring opportunity?

Blackpool the worst team at Ewood this season Asia? Including us at times?

Great result and many great performances.

It's been said, many times, but Gallagher is literally unbelievably bad isn't he...

Two issues there - a poor player but clearly also very low on confidence, having not scored or really contributed in any noticable way in a very long time now. With a bit of confidence Gally can put himself about somewhat and scab the odd goal here and there... without confidence, though, he really does offer absolutely nothing. We really have to hope something bounces off any part of his body and into the net at some point, just to give him that slight boost he desperately needs.

Well happy with the three points tonight. Should’ve been a comfortable 3-0 and against better opposition our lack of centre forward options might have bit us on the backside. Gallagher was very poor, as was Vale when he came on.

We never looked in any danger and it was nice to see us attack with a bit of intent. Becoming a big Sorba Thomas fan. Thought both fullbacks had really good games and benefitted from not having to worry too much about their defensive duties against pretty impotent opposition. It was clear that Poveda didn’t fancy it after the first few minutes and Brittain duly had him on toast.

Dolan I thought was a shoo-in for MOTM til he did that daft flick on the edge of the box. First half in particular he was superb and nice to see him step up with the goal. Szmodics put in a hell of a shift and despite recent criticism Travis had a very good game.

There’s a big gulf in quality between us and Blackpool, being in and amongst the playoffs isn’t overachievement for us.

We can't ask for more from rovers, 6pts from 2 home games with Dack and Diaz injured. I thought it was a decent performance, we battled well for the points and showed some good movement when we had the ball. Great performance from Brittain in defence. Well done Rovers lets take our home form away with us.

Got to play the cards your dealt.

Blackpool not up to much but had chances and some wayward shots.

Probably the worst but I like them more than bloody Wigan.

Scott. Adam and Brereton Diaz could be back for saturday.

A fantastic battling performance with Dack, Diaz, S Warton and A warton  still to come back. We showed some classy moves when we had the ball. And goals are beginning to come from all departments.

Best performance at ewood for a while and should have been 3 or 4 with more composure up top.

Blackpool were awful but our 11 were up for it from the first whistle and maybe just made them look that bad.

We look really solid defensively now pity we just didn’t get in a couple of strikers to make games like this more comfortable.

According to transfermarkt he has 13 career headed goals - for a 6ft 4 striker that seems extraordinary.

Cant argue with another win and somehow being 4th in the league.

Performance wise, like watching paint dry. Doesnt seem to be any attacking plan and a dearth of attacking plan and quality with hardly any chances again created. Dolan with an excellent goal but otherwise was as bad as he has been for sometimes, constantly losing the ball, stupid repeated stepovers and an embarassing dive. Szmodics runs around with minimal quality and Thomas does offer us natural width but his end product is underwhelming and I think his assist was meant for Travis. The less said about Gallagher the better and Morton playing off Vale overtakes Varney and Brown in the worst attacking duo I can remember.

Defensively excellent though, both full backs competing for man of the match, Pears could have sat next to me. All 3 centre backs dealt with a poor Blackpool side easily, Hyam the stand out and Travis is really performing well at the moment. Buckley is not a deep central midfielder, Adam Wharton needed for the weekend. Under Tomasson we are well organised to be fair.

If we can beat qpr and Watford take 3 points off Sheffield utd. What a game the sheff utd match will be

Indeed; it ought to be the best League gate since the famous home game against Oxford United!

If Waggott and Co. can't sell tickets for that game and have some package ready for sale for the remaining games, they really should pack up.
