He hasn't scored for a while, not the player he was a couple of years ago.

No way can we afford Pukki's wages at Rovers plus his age doesn't fit our footballing model

Let's just be realistic. This is the club that can't even manage basic admin let alone a full squad rebuild.

If we're in the championship again next year so much is going to rest on whether Raya does finally make a big move this summer, talk of him leaving for over £30mill. Even if he only went for 15mill that could still mean a good few mill coming our way, It would make all the difference and could finance a real quality deal like O'Brian on a permanent deal.. (as long as we don't try to sign Morton permanently😬😬😬)

Any incoming money will be trousered.

There will be at least one more "oopsie daisy" moment where a crucial transfer or whatever will fall through due to the deliberate incompetence of the senior management at Rovers.

Can't see us having a chance with him. Maybe he's been looked at for if we win promotion. The only other possibility would be a loan with an option to buy, to put him in the shop window.
