Fantastic to see the effort and application the players put in tonight, hopefully gives them belief in a few big league games coming up.

As a side note, that’s probably worth another 0.5m just for getting through, so at least 1m more than we probably budgeted for by getting this far. That’s massive for a club like us trying to manage FFP.

Onwards and upwards.

One of the most impressive things tonight is we twice had one of ‘those moments’ with Dolan and Hedges chances, you fear the worst, both time through grit and work we scored within a minute or so

Amidst the loathing for Rodgers there is some nice praise for our team and fans.

Liked this one

'Well done to Blackburn, thought they were excellent - payback for lending them George Hirst 🤣.  Got what we deserved for an abject display. It’s hard to like this team, it has well and truly reached the end of its cycle. Massive summer ahead

If we get United at OT or Spurs away, it will literally be millions once TV money is added into the equation. Not trivial.

Obviously Fleetwood at home would be nicer though!

We’ve now won more games at away PL sides this season than Everton, West Ham, Leeds and Forest. Liverpool have only won one more.

Phenomenal. Best performance since leaving the PL. So proud of the team tonight.

This is a brilliant post on a brilliant night.

Just hope this jubilation translates into a decent crowd on Saturday lunchtime.

Gally was superb tonight. Goes under the radar how much work he does. And SS is proving to be a shrewd purchase. Can't say I was that impressed before his spell out of the side, but like other players he's come back far better after being left out.
