I'm totally buzzing after that, seeing the togetherness of the fans and the players at the end, where's this belief and team spirit come from?

Natural from a bunch of lads with a chance to go up.....we are normally mid death spiral by now....like Sunderland seem to be...😄😄 looks like the old lemon drizzle has dried up

Where do you get audio from? My BBC live won't let me connect to lancs outside of Blackburn down here in Bristol . Thanks

I'm no Technology Whizz, @Neilbristol, but used to have a similar problem when I lived in the catchment area of BBC GMR (Greater Manchester) so this might work for you. Do you have the BBC Sounds App on a laptop or mobile phone?

When you open that App, you'll find a list of Stations, including all the BBC Local Stations. If you click on Radio Lancashire, you might find the local commentary which I get as a resident these days of Blackburn.

Hopefully, that will do the trick for you. However, there may be another couple of hurdles, which will be more difficult, if not impossible, for you to get over. And they are: i) the contracts which the BBC signs which seem to prevent them broadcasting things like local sporting events to listeners not resident in an area likely to be interested in such an event.

So why would anyone living in Brizzle in his right mind be interested in listening to a Radio Lancashire commentary on the Mighty, Magnificent BRFC blunting The Blades?? Apparently the BBC's contracts people, it feels like occasional scoreflashes on Radio 5 are - thought to be ‐ enough for such listeners as them (you!).

The second hurdle is that because Radio Lancs broadcasts on different frequencies and DAB, you may find that the only Radio Lancs commentary you can get via the Sounds App is the one covering, say, Lincoln City vs. FleetwoodTown.

And, afaik, there's the square root of bugger-all you can do about that!!

Hope that either one of the above suggestions works for you or that there's someone else on here less technologically-challenged than me who can properly solve this problem for you.

I only see the highlights but you can now see the belief in their faces

One thing I’ve noticed from Dolan. He seems to have more end product now but he certainly has improved physically, I know his small in stature but he’s putting his body about more and like someone mentioned above, shielding the ball with his body. Really impressed with him the last few weeks

I am starting to think the turning point this year was the injury to Brittain and JRC grabbing the opportunity with both hand and making himself a first team regular . I could not believe at one point in the second half he tuned up in their box on the left to cross the ball he seems to be everywhere. We now competition for the FB places with Brittian looking ok at leftback as well.

If I was being greedy I’d want a second left footed left back but I agree that the full back positions are now looking stronger

The players are simply being braver on the ball and are moving it quicker. We were slow and ponderous because Morton kept on passing it back to the CBs rather than turning and running with it (or at least playing it sideways to a FB).

100% agree with this - it's noticeable during matches.

Today, I saw Pickering (for example) play quick forward and sideways passes, whereas earlier in the season he looked scared and played a safe backwards ball too often.

JRC on the other side has been even more remarkable, his touch, skill and passing range has been a really big part of why we've looked so good recently.

I don't think we've changed much at all in terms of style, I just think the players are braver, more confident and are making the right decisions more than the wrong ones at the moment.

Momentum is a HUGE thing in football. I'll be perfectly honest; had we brought in a number of new players in Jan, I'm not confident we'd be seeing this level of cohesion.

Because the game was over and you won't be a miserable git for the rest of the night. Same in my house to be honest!

Midweek games amuse me. If rovers win I get greeted and asked how they got on. If they lose already in bed. 🤷‍♂️

There's been a real maturity to Dolans work over the last month he's turned into a really creative all rounder instead of just being an individual flair player.

I agree - and I thought he really caught the eye in the Leicester game.

If we did go up, I think his style of play would be really suited to the Prem and he'd just go from strength to strength.

Having bore witness to pathetic games at Wigan, Coventry, Rotherham etc during which it seemed we had no idea, no plan, no fluidity and not a bloody clue, it has been intriguing just watching this team develop over the past few months. In fact, it has been nothing short of a miracle to see what is happening on the pitch. There is fire in the belly, there is a willingness to run, to fight, to play for each other, a plan on the park, each to a man, the players know their job and it is incredible to see the results of their hard work.

Today, Sheff Utd would have thought they were rolling up and taking 3 points with them, It didnt happen as Rovers took them on, forced them to concede ground and struck at the right moment, and what a move it was, a complete team goal.

Carter and Hyam have been immense backed up by JRC and Pickering. Travis is a man possessed and there are fewer gaps in the middle because of his tenacity and the willingness of players around him to cover, which often hasnt been the case during this season.

Gally, well who would have imagined just what a valuable player he can be in the right set up. Samer can be said of Smodic and Dolan, two terrific players today and over the past few weeks.

I was impressed with how Sheff U play the quick ball and believe me they will come at us big time in the FA Cup game. They will want revenge at their home and they will be backed by a sell out home crowd. Personally, I am not bothered if we lost the game although it would be great to play in a semi final at Wembley.

I have a feeling Rovers wont be too concerned about it because the eyes are on the bigger prize.

55 points in the bag how many more for a play off spot? I say 73 points will be suffice and games we must win are Luton, Coventry, Reading, Preston and Huddersfield with a couple of draws along the way and we might just make it.

Rovers are not favourites but imagine just how close we can get if we can snatch a win on Friday at Stoke.

Time for Rovers fans to really back this team.

Yeah i said similar the other night he looked very comfortable with the time and space a Prem team allow.

1 up at half time, would have settled for that.

Blades certainly look a threat.

Think we've another goal in us.

Need to look after the ball more when in possession.

Got my feet up and opened a bottle of Chat-du-Pape.

Not worried - will stick with original prediction, Rovers by a single goal.

"Not bothered" if we get to a FA cup semi final at Wembley. Mind boggling.

The fans do back the team, the atmosphere was excellent today. If the tickets notably season ticket prices were more resonaably priced then we would have bigger turnouts.

If the players are now who I think they are they will want to play in a FA Cup semi final at Wembley even if some fans claim that they are "not bothered".

The players will want that plus a playoff spot.
