Popular Post B16Rover Posted March 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2023 Not the time really to be getting onto Mowbray but 12 months ago (with arguably a better more experienced team on paper) we'd have dwindled into a 2 nil loss and been told were young lads not up to it. What a turnaround 18 Quote
neophox Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 We won but still could had won easily enough with alot of chances created once again... Brereton Diaz is a luxury to have on the bench at the moment.... 2 Quote
Miker Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Absolutely massive 3 points - what a team performance. The fact we are in March now and moving closer to top 2 rather than further away, gives me hope that we can finally hold out this season and finish on a high. 2 Quote
Polky Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Yes, yes, YES! Another great performance from the lads. They handled the game so well, against a team of experienced pros. As many have said already, so proud of the team at the moment, let’s hope this run continues! Quote
neophox Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Beating QPR, Leicester and now Sheffield U in space of 7 days huge....JRC need a rest two days or so... 2 Quote
Popular Post SBlue Posted March 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2023 Played them off the park second half, and should’ve been easier against 10 men. Delighted. 12 Quote
lraC Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 I watched on Rovers TV having popped from Spain to Italy as a Very Proud Northerner. What a great win and performance. I am literally shaking as I type this. Great credit to everyone for not getting bullied. Sheffield UTD very dirty and how Basham did not get a second yellow is beyond me. What a move for the goal. Defence magnificent and the midfield worked like Trojans too. Great to see Travis back at his best. I am Buckley fan and thought he was immense again. Great teamwork throughout and who knows, perhaps we are good enough for second. 6 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Trav, Hyam and Pickering the standouts for me. Nobody lower than an 8 though. Just superb. 7 Quote
Tricky Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Is it time to start digging out the JDT hate quote posts yet? 6 Quote

Bbrovers2288 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Proud as punch of this team this week, absolutely superb. After been very apprehensive at the start of the season, I’m starting to believe…… 3 Quote
ageoftherover Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 How do you even give a motm there? Maybe Trav as the captain given the entire team played great. 2 Quote

Totally different team to the one that looked so poor and served up such dross not that long ago. This group of players are playing for each other and confidence is high. It's a small group though because of the transfer farago and we have to hope players don't get tired or injured. Brilliant. Long may it continue Sometimes, that adversity just works for you. It's not by design but it may just see us in the playoffs. Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Bloody bloody fantastic win! Confidence is sky high. What a turnaround. Kudos to the boys! Quote
superniko Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ OOOOOOO We’re a team that have bollocks now. Not sure if it’s JDT, if it’s someone like Hyam, if it’s someone tenacious like Thomas I don’t know but hats off to the lot of them. JDT’s Blue n White Army! Edited March 4, 2023 by superniko 2 Quote
neophox Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Its better us chasing them and them looking over their shoulders..... 1 Quote
neophox Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 We're looked a more harder side since Thomas joined.... 6 Quote
Bethnal Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 I am physically buzzing, was jumping for every corner and free kick at the end. Feels massive with all the context. We are stretched and you can still see every player running themselves into the floor to get over the line. Would love to be rolling into the Burnley home game in this form, but for now, we just have to keep building on each performance, manage the squad and keeping looking up. 3 Quote
neophox Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Would love Blackpool to win against Burnley today. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Extraordinary turn round in fortunes since the debacle at Burnley and the embarrassing defeats by Preston and Rotherham. Credit to the manager - he's realised his strategy wasn't working with the players at his disposal and changed the way we play. We're pressing high, we're quicker, more direct but still passing and keeping possession when we have to. The defence looks settled and this back 4 looks the best combination with possibly Brittain for JRC (I'd like to see him midfield) Great day. 7 Quote

WacoRover Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 ShefU wanted this game… no mistake about it. And, a huge traveling support. They gave effort, but in the end, they weren’t as skillful. I expect to see a similar effort at Stoke on Friday. COYB! 16,464. 1 Quote
