Definitely a penalty on Hayem. Maybe one for us too

Hyam...more of one than the first one they claimed, but he went down very very easy. Just trying to win one more than genuinely fouled, but seen them given.

Very bad half. Those shot stats (10, 4 on target for Stoke, 3, 0 on target for us) and of course the scoreline, sum up how little we deserved.

Definite pen for Stoke before they scored second but also definite handball so we should have had a penalty too.

What am I indicating? Poor championship referees.

Nevertheless, we haven't been this bad since Rotherham.

We're up against one of the best managers in this league.

We need a QUALITY striker in the summer. Someone who can actually hold up the ball. Not a soft bellend who has no fight.  Someone who can actually f@cking run. Someone who has some awareness. Someone who can score.  Gallagher is a joke. The rest of them not much better tonight

that's a pen for us which would be huge.

They should also have had a pen but if they do then it's still 2 anyway ours changes the way the game is going.

Think Szmodics' shot had a good angle and curl on it too, could have landed top corner if the Stoke lad hadn't clearly swung his arms out. I disagree with most handballs that are given, but that one is a definite hand to ball.

You don't just go out giving a toss about it against an in form Stoke side....they all need a kick on the backside...i would put on Hedges and Brereton at half time.

Rovers fancy dans didn't fancy a cold Friday night at Stoke. It doesn't matter how good you think you are, if you don't go out and compete you'll lose. So many players off their game we're making Stoke look like a decent side, which they're not.

The 0 on target is very concerning. Reminiscent of the end of 2022 under JDT when we just looked completely clueless going forward.

It was bound to happen sooner or later.

Unless something unexpected happens in the 2nd half, we'll need to get it out of the system and move onto the next one.

No point having a quality striker when we create absolutely nothing.

We haven’t performed well today

Got caught out with the JRC shifting into the middle and turning it into a back three for their first goal. Dolan not tracking his man is criminal if we play like that

Second goal was just mind blowing. How he won that header with three around him…. That’s football

We all knew we were going to lose a game at some point. I won’t panic. This is Championship football and they are playing well lately

Dolan to be subbed for Brereton and JRC for Brittain. Maybe bring Morton on for Szmodics and go a flat midfield three with three up top

Im pretty sanguine about it... You come up with a game plan, works well for a while, then gets found out. Happens to every team every season. I thought for all our excellent performances recently we looked very light at the back with both the full backs pushed up. Stoke have seen that and pressed us and got into the channels.

What sets out the good managers and teams is what you do about it. Even if we dont recover what Im looking for is some effective changes tactically.

Get JRC off immediately,  pathetic performance

A bit of success has gone to his head. The way he's going he thinks he's Messi now.

I agree but it would help if when we launch the ball to him he could actually hold it up

The first one was fair play…about as close to fair play as we’ve been all night

We are on fire and with confidence and adrenalin surging through the camp like an exocet missile this will be another win.  Rovers 3-1.

The HT score is no surprise 😉
