Tomasson mentioned that here. Such a talented player but still big areas to improve. His passing was off today but you can see what’s he’s trying to do, it’s all ways quick and he’s always trying to make things happen going forward. Not back to his best yet. roverandout Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Wharton outclassing de bruyne and gonzales. 18 million 4 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Wharton is surely going this summer and it makes me physically sick that all money will be wasted by this virus of a regime...I don't think we'll ever produce a player to the levels of Wharton again. 6 Quote

Mattyblue Posted Friday at 09:46 Posted Friday at 09:46 (edited) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c3evw09794xo Another piece on him. Yep, he’s going elsewhere sooner rather than later, with a decent sell on… so obviously another ‘significant investment’ will be coming the team’s way. Not cheap these three month loans. Bronzed A Donis Posted Friday at 12:28 Posted Friday at 12:28 Did I read on here the maximum we can get now is another £4 million? Madness on a player that could go for £80-100 million. We should have insisted at least 20% on any future sale of over x amount. Quote

The extra £4M was the add on's (these would be based on club & ,international appearances etc) Not to be confused with the sell on clause. Which will be a predetermined % of any profit made when Palace sell him 1 Quote

To my layman's eye, he looks positionally and physically a bit indecisive defensively - though did great to nick the ball away for the second goal. Palace haven't had a great deal of possession, so harder for him to impress with his passing but still looks good. 1 Quote

roversfan99 Posted yesterday at 19:45 Posted yesterday at 19:45 He is a great talent but that would be a big ask. 2 Quote
bigbrandjohn Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago A different and refreshing perspective. "Eze's impact earned him the man-of-the-match award, but he will surely have faced strong competition from the brilliant Wharton, who strode through midfield in style, a potent mixture of composure, creation and that priceless ability to win possession then use it well. Former England captain Wayne Rooney is a firm admirer, telling BBC Sport: "Attacking players get a lot of the credit, but Adam Wharton was outstanding. His commitment and winning the ball back - I thought he was the best player on the pitch." This follows rich praise delivered by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who described him as "an excellent holding midfielder". 6 Quote

chaddyrovers Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I dont see him going Newcastle to be honest. Wouldn't suit how they played. Linked with Liverpool this morning. That move would suit him and how they play. Man City aswell. 12 hours ago, DuffsLeftPeg said: He’s better than that & they can’t afford him due to FFP They can this summer especially if they get champions league football plus Isak has been linked with £100m plus transfer move.
