Without Scott Wharton to attack the ball a short corner or a cross have the same result, fuck all.

Morton gets to take corners and freekicks. He's shit at both, but it ups his stats. Wanker.

We need to make him look good so he can get in the Liverpool team next season.  That's what it's all about

Sorry but there isn’t a goal in this side.

We have made quite a lot of promising opportunities but not forced the keeper into a save. As you say, no one with a strikers instinct and just doesn’t look like we can find a goal from anywhere. I think we are going to need Wharton, Thomas and Leonard.

That Dolan chance was the one. Don't wanna hammer him but you have to score that.

Yea should be going opposite side all day long.

No matter what league next season we need some proper strikers through the door.

Never rated Gallagher but tbh never really rated Diaz either.

Point the finger at the dicking around at the back, or the bad touches, passengers, Morton being poor, but even with all of those issues it mainly boils down to not having a striker and having that dosile twonk upfront. As others have said, the play offs were lost in January and it wasn't on the pitch.

Hedges burries that Dolan chance btw

Hedges has 4 goals in 2,117 minutes. Dolan has 4 goals in 1,659 minutes.

Add the cups and it's Hedges 4 in 2,438 and Dolan 6 in 2,190.

I don't think Hedges is the clinical finisher you think he is.

The team is fragile and frightened needs a serious change of tactics - the confidence seems to have disappeared after Huddersfield in what is a crucial week at Ewood

It has to be, no other logical explanations.

Sort of clobbers the Team is No. 1 bullshit.

Hull without alot of the senior squad right? Having to give a debut to 19 year old?

And yet still we struggle to put them away, BBD poor, Gallagher poor,  Morton invisible and hyam having another poor game

Picking and singling out Morton is so wrong every single players is ranking a 1 at best

It must be difficult to have confidence when you don't have a goalscorer, the other players must know they are playing with 10.

Agree that's where my mind immediately went for putting it. But so did the keeper's, and he sent his body that way too. It wasn't really the decision that made him miss, but the accuracy.

I think we needed them from the get-go, but JDT is channelling his inner Gary Bowyer. I swear there’s a kind of “The Shining” scenario in our dressing room.

I'd be happy to single him out if he was the problem, he was awful in the first half against Hudds. It's plain to see what's wrong tonight (and many others), and it's not easily fixed at this stage of the season.

Pears made a decent save low down, the sort of shot that causes TK issues.

The rest are poor, but, Morton and Gallagher and Diaz for that matter are a class apart, and not in a good way.

Carter has been fine, it's his constant stop, backpass that frustrates

We play nice football, we even control the matches now for the most part, but what hasn't changed is the lack of quality in the final third.

Hedges, Dolan, Gally, Szmodics all work hard but they lack the end product for the most part. BBD can do it he's just bang out of form. Dack is only one with genuine quality but his best days are behind him.

Improvement needed in the 'front four' personnel for next season.

Anyway, lets just get a 1-0 win!
