Excellent achievement for Gary Bowyer in his first season in Scottish football as manager of Dundee FC. Champions after beating Owen Coyle’s Queens Park in the title decider tonight in an 8 goal thriller. He’ll be pitting his wits against Celtic and Rangers next season. Well done, Gary.

Bizarre that he gets them promoted and then leaves! Strachan is the DoF at Dundee. He strikes me as quite headstrong and stubborn. Probably something to do with that.

Fair play to Bowyer, though. His reputation will have been boosted, and he won't have a problem finding a decent job in League One or thereabouts.

Dundee are my second team after Rovers, and the line is that they wanted a manager who had experience of the SPL after the relegation last time they were in it. Callum Davidson fits the bill and is available. Harsh, but that’s life in pro football.

anyway, there's a happy ending, from one ex Rover to another...

Former Millwall assistant set for new managerial role – South London News (londonnewsonline.co.uk)

Notice they say ex Millwall assistant and not ex Blackburn rovers player then they say former Blackpool boss bowyer and not former Blackburn boss bowyer. Are they still bitter about us knocking them out the playoffs?

It’s hardly surprising that the South London News would concentrate on a connection with Millwall rather than Rovers.

And how would anyone infer that from a post with two statements that you were emphasising the second one?
