After the pre seasons I’d play the below

Kaminski

JRC, Carter, Hyam, Brittain

Tronstad Wharton

Szmodics

Markanday, Gally, Hedges

Travis and Tronstad is difficult between the 2 & also Gally uptop I think will get goals, eventually…Besides we don’t know what Ennis is like so can’t put him in just yet.

I always appreciate his input. Its great to have a member of this message board who regularly watches the u21s.

I've always found him very objective, including his opinion on Markanday. I also saw him post recently that he'd happily be wrong. It's not like he's Sparks/Bucko style vendetta.

Seems the youngsters keep on scoring..... With the back four from Fleetwood game and Kaminski it should had been an easy win... Nice to see Gilsenan and Bloxham scoring along with Leonard who also missed a penalty. Full kudos to Markanday who seem to have grown and could have a big season with his pace and trickery.

With they way things have gone this summer (or this week at least), we may have to rely upon the academy even more this season

Man Utd had Fergie's Fledglings, we will have Tomasson's Tiddlers (assuming JDT sticks around)

Tomasson's tots

Wharton is going to be some way off playing by the sounds of it. Injury and illness (if true) combined are gonna take it out of someone so slight.

There is hidden irony in those statements

According to rovers.co.uk website, this game hasn't kicked off yet.

Adam Wharton back to full training on Monday.

Niall Ennis light training on Monday.

Vale and Sigurddson both long term muscle problems. Just hoping Sigurddson is like Van Hecke. Fans slagged Mowbray mercilessly for signing a total crock on loan and he only won player of the season.

Pretty sure that never happened and why would it. He was a 21 year old who’d just made 31 appearances the previous season in the Dutch top flight and cup (and was on the bench for all other games, so missed zero games through injury), so why would he be written off as a ‘total crock’?

The irrational negativity specific to Blackburn.

It didn’t happen. Cool story though.

Who is Norwood and how much do they want for him?

James Norwood, 32 years old. Should be cheap.

Great to hear the DM played well against Barnsley. Won 2 pens, assist and set up other chances.

Such a shame he didn't get loan out to league 1 or 2 last season instead of Scotland. 6 months wasted there.

Nice to see an exciting friendly with lots of goals. Nil nil in a friendly is just the worst. Concerning news on the injury fitness front, looks like we'll be going into the new season weaker, not stronger

Why's there been complete silence on this game by Rovers?

Genuinely think DM will be a breakout this season - real bonus for us if that is the case.
