I'll be watching this later on this afternoon ...

My Dad, now 87 is in a Clitheroe residential home and lives with that b****rd of a condition that is Vascular Dementia. He grew up in Nottingham, lost his Dad during the war, and his Uncles would take him to Meadow Lane just after the war to watch County. I remember him telling me of the crowds going from 6,000 to 35,000 when they signed Tommy Lawton, when Notts were in the old 3rd Division North. When he was a bit older, he'd get the admission to both Meadow Lane & Trent Bridge, by collecting discarded beer bottles at the ground and getting the deposits back on them. By doing that, he saw the 1948 Australian " Invincibles ", led by Don Bradman on his last tour ...

I've nothing against Chesterfield, but I'm visiting him with Mrs " Sympathetic Claret " tomorrow with his 2 year old Great-Granddaughter, and I'd love to be able to tell him " Notts " have been promoted ... 😎

Well that put me through the wringer ....

I think we'd all agree as a fan, you'd be less than impressed if 107 points in a 46 game season, only 3 defeats and a goal difference of +75 did not see your Club promoted .... 😉

Would have been completely against natural justice to get 107 points and not get promoted.

The Borehamwood and Chesterfield play offs will have shredded the nerves of every County supporter.

It always makes me smile when the media refer to the other lot as Notts Forest which they hate.
