You can pre order your home shirts from 11am tomorrow and it no surprises that so many Rovers fans have bought the new home shirt meaning we run out so quickly.

I will be ordering my new home shirt tomorrow.

So you don’t know the difference between personal taste and ‘complaining’, thought so.

Another day being offended on other people's behalf. Do you work for the BBC?

Just quoting the forum where it was said that the sponsor is close to being finalised. At no point was it stated it would be a new one.

Based on rumoured information about the new home shirt @brfccody has mocked this up…

thoughts everyone?

Embossed Rovers F.C., white collar, blue macron - who’d have thought it….

Obviously you that is ‘offended’ on the club’s behalf, M_B by folk having the temerity to have their own taste and not fawning over a bit of polyester. 😁

Each of these options looks better than the one Rovers went with…& don’t get me started on non-reversed halves…😆

Ok, these look way better and now I don't like the new kit as much.

It looks much better with the lettering painted and clean. I was at Ewood yesterday and it looked weathered too. A good stone mason could make it look brand new in no time.

How can they fuck this up year after year? How hard can it be to design a Rovers shirt, it's so simple.

@Herbie6590 how long did it take you?

FWIW - my golden rules for the perfect Rovers kit…

1. Royal blue

2. Reversed halves on back

3. Ideally…halved sleeves

4. As few extraneous bits of trim as possible

5. Red numbers

…which means the 60’s classic for the old timers like me & the best modern equivalent - the ASICS/CIS version…

I’m not sure it’s been mentioned. But the colour of the collar is the colour of the blue on the original shirts in the 1880’s

Should have made the entire kit that color then, with some nice red trim or something

Why is there a black border around the badge? Looks crap, has that been a thing for a while?

Do any of our senior posters remember that stone being put into the Blackburn End turnstile wall? It was certainly there when I started going in the mid-60s.

Here is a Picture before a game v Burnley circa 1913.....the ROVERS F.C. is resplendent on the BBE facade.

nearly always has a black border! to hide the stitching around the embroidery, isn't it?
