Time to start a new thread for the upcoming season?

I'll start with something I've just seen related to one of our new opponents for the season. Imagine Venkys coming up with an open letter like this. No, I can't either.

All 3 relegations clubs have yet been appoint a new head coach. Leeds are in mess with no Sporting Director or head coach plus ownership issues. Leicester are doing an internal review and then decide what they want to with the head coach. Southampton want Russell Martin but appears its hold up over compo for his coaching staff from there. So Swansea will need a head coach replacement. 

Its going to be interesting summer ahead and I can't wait for the season to start now. Looking forward to watching a couple of pre season friendlies already.

Excellent letter and an object lesson in how to communicate with fans, although I'm not sure they will agree that the "journey" is going well at present. 

And no, I can't ever see any such missive coming out of Ewood Park under the current regime

It had passed me by that Cardiff are also once again looking for a new manager with Lamouchi leaving. Thought he did a good job getting them out of trouble.

Can't see Cardiff City making a big name appointment. It'll be a cheap one.

Very strange goings on at Leeds. The Athletic wouldn't have printed that unless they have strong evidence that it happened.

If this was to happen at Ewood it wouldn’t sit right with me. But you could argue the ticket revenue would pay for a new striker 😂

It's probably the only chance they will get to see Liverpool at Deepdale for a long time.

He's tried to secure a £26m loan against Elland Road so he can buy Sampdoria. I wouldn't hold him up as the bastion of great ownership tbh.

what next for Leeds now Allardyce has gone. He said he couldn't commit to manage them long term. Strange comments for me.

I think that’s just letting him leave whilst saving face, he obviously wasn’t going to get the job.

He was never going to be at Leeds next season even if they stayed up. The Leeds job was an ideal few weeks work for him to top up to his retirement fund.
