How long will Ratcliffe and the Glazers get along if the former (presumably) gets this "wrong". A bunch of poisonous snakes working together hopefully they go even further backwards. Ferguson will presumably have some input even if he's not their so called ambassador or whatever it is any more. Berrada and Whorecox might have some input too.

Not seen anything of Ineos to suggest they're any better than The Glazers, tbf.

Their "review" of ten Hag in the summer looks like a pointless exercise now. He was never good enough so why did Ineos go through the process only to bin him after 9 games?

They've named van Nistelrooy as interim boss. My guess is that performances will pick up in the short term, the fans will get excited and hark back to the glory days, then it will all revert to type as their substandard players go back to normal.

The management team at United bottled their decision to sack Ten Hag cos he won the FA cup. They were talking to different managers during the summer and bottled it. It was reported during the last international break were meeting unemployed head coaches like Xavi.

No surprised they sacked him now and appointed Van Nistelrooy as interim head coach

Awww. I was enjoying that 😂

Me too. Not to worry though, it will continue under new packaging. As us Rovers fans are painfully aware, owners matter, and until the Glazers sell up us non-Man U fans will be treated to this recurring spectacle.

I can't name 1 player that Man U have who would get into City, Arsenal, or Liverpool's first 11. Maybe a fully fit Luke Shaw - but that is an oxymoron, and Roberston getting roasted time and again by Saka yesterday is fresh in my head.

It's a gradual decline can see them ending up like Everton. ETH had 500 million to spend so unlike our owners he was backed with funds .

the penalty decision against utd yesterday was a scandalous piece of incompetence on both the pointless var and the referee, who, after being instructed to look at a coming together in the penalty ara, quite plainly had no idea what to do and what was going on

on the other hand,it was ******* hilarious, utd got dodgy penalties and  got dubious decisions  for years under the alcoholic old w*****r ferguson,so i guess, karma is a bitch,i hope their new manager is as useless as the last 5 as well😅

One of football's greatest moments, watch  from 04.22 minutes.

Utd fans managed to get the game abandoned but failed to get it replayed.

They were entitled trash back then too.

Great stuff.

Nothing will ever beat super rio setting up David Bentley though, that was amazing.

Selling McTominay seemed like an attempt to undermine the manager by the upper echelons. Never the most popular, but a very useful player to have around. It’s a different era but Utd have forgotten that players like Nicky Butt and P. Neville emerged as integral squad players and McTominay seems like a better player than them.

Man U have their next manager; ESPN: Amorim to Utd

He's been touted as the next big thing for about a year now. There were articles linking him with Liverpool last season, and more recent ones having him take over from Guardiola next season.

He has to wait a month before he starts.

I think that he will improve them as ten Hag was certainly not up to it, but they have a mediocre squad that will take time and money to shift.

Speaking of ten Hag ESPN ran an article yesterday articulating his stay; ESPN: why ten Hag failed

If the stories in it are true, and I've no reason to doubt them, he should have gone ages ago.

Enjoyed this part, re Sancho: 'United representatives sent messages to high-profile pundits telling them to stop talking up the forward's contribution because it reflected badly on the club.'

Sure their ex players bow to their every demand but who the hell do they think they are telling other pundits what to say? As for reflecting badly on the club where do you start?

As for Amorim don't know him don't like him. Hope he's a miserable failure though it possibly won't be his fault as they have no patience whatsoever.
