Surely thats Ange at the job centre.

Would sacking him really change anything when they have massive injury crisis there and who would they target right now? Would they be better with Ryan Mason in charge as caretaker manager and then appoint a permanent manager in the summer? or judge it in the summer?

Well another manager presumably wouldnt play stupidly attacking football especially without some players and probably could get more than 1 point in 7 games. So yes.

No idea who they would appoint. I dont think Mason did very well last time but maybe wrong. They would surely get a good manager in as soon as they could.

They have 7 or 8 first team regulars out so any new manager would still have to pick the same team and I would say in recent games Ange has changed style and not attacking football. Plus they are still n 3 cup competitions so their season could be successful one.

I would actually back Ange and stick with him especially if he win a trophy this season for next season and bring in quality signings.

Still trying to workout Arsenal's red card yesterday.

Was quite surprised when I saw it, as I had heard numerous pundits on the radio calling it one of the worst decisions they have ever seen.

Saw it and wondered what the fuss was about. Cynincal, zero attempt to play the ball and went with the studs.

Bit soft, but wouldn't expect it to be rescinded personally.

Up to the dizzy heights of 14th.

Wonder if he plays the new defender when injured like the other 2. Then moans about an injury crisis that he is partially responsible for.

maybe backed the guy and sign some new players for him.

Leaving Rovers current debacle aside for a minute it seems that Ratcliffe is wielding the axe again at Man U; BBC: more redundancies at Man U

Having laid over 250 staff last year Man U may now lay off another 200 to save money.

I'm no fortune teller but in the world of Premier League football running a slash and burn cost cutting operation seldom leads to on field success.

My cynical take is that he's doing it on purpose again to make the club look favourable to potential buyers. Although I'm sure that there are many oil rich middle eastern princes would buy it tomorrow as is.

Either way, the way it looks to me is that Man U won't be winning the league any time soon.

Hopefully he does a venkys and takes the slash and burn policy to the playing and coaching staff.

Still praying for a Amorim sacking early March and a Southgate appointment.

They've hired a manager whose system doesn't work with the players they have. Some lucky wins over some shit teams briefly papered over the cracks, but it's obvious Amorim is going to need significant recruitment to implement his vision, and there's no suggestion INEOS are going to provide that. If anything they are doing the opposite.

He doesn't own enough of the club to sell it, right?

The Glazers sold him a percentage and let him run the football side of things.

I think he's just an out-of-touch tax exile billionaire.

If it wasn't for the MASSIVE gap between the Championship and the Premier League (i.e. the 3 promoted teams are going straight back down again), Man U would be sweating right now. They're absolutely awful.

He owns 25% or thereabouts. My theory is that the Glazers are having him do all this in public as he's technically local so they don't feel the wrath. The club is worth north of £5bn. Ratcliffe is a businessman who made his big money flipping companies, he will get a nice windfall if they sell. I'm sure that is hard for him to pass up.

If this is not the case Ratcliffe is doing a shambolic job of running the club.

I didn't see the game yesterday but not scoring against Spurs is an indictment in itself, never mind the plethora of teenagers on the subs bench.
