this match is the epitome of man utd, lack of desire, lack of discipline and lack of fight for the ball,if there wer`nt so many awful sides in the premier league,id`e say they were possible relegation candidates

Can't disagree with any of that

United fans I work with have wrote this season off and blame Ratcliffe and his staff for it. They say why keep Ten Hag and give him a new contract only to get rid after a few months.

Poor signings. Players who should have left like Casemiro and Maguire in the summer..

They are saying massive rebuild needed in the summer with Rashford, Maguire, Anthony, Eriksen, Casemiro, Martinez. Players needed are a striker, left wing back, 2 centre midfielders, left footed centre back, back up centre back.

The most important thing about the prevailing situation at Old Trafford is that it is very, very funny.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. Hope Ratcliffe is having a rotten Christmas.

Same applies for City! Beautiful to see.

Oh it is, I don’t have to hear their entitled whining.

Good for you Matty. I just enjoyed talking about football and discussing different opinions on things.

It's enjoyable listening to the pain in their voice when talking about the problems at the club

Because they are a Man Utd ‘fan’ from Blackburn or Preston or Accy or Bolton etc etc.

Right. What that got to do with owt. Parents might live over here but original from the Manchester area or it's the team they starting following 20 years or even longer.

Ha if you believe that, the old ‘my parents drove past Old Trafford once’

As for ‘supporting them 20 years ago’. Yeah wonder why they started doing that 🤔?

People support the team they do for different reasons whether its cos their parents support this team or it's local team, etc.

Sounds you are bitter one not the United fans I know. They support them for whatever reasons they do just like Liverpool fans i know, or PNE or Blackpool or West Ham fan I know.

Nice to know I'm not a real fan since I was born in Barnet, and spent my early childhood abroad. This information could be useful in the future. I suppose if I put on a Lancashire accent, dress up like one of the Goodies and study the martial art of Eckie Thump, I might get away with it.

I assume Upside Down is originally from the Blackburn area, but lives in either Australia or New Zealand so they're OK.

Don’t be daft Norbert. There are loads of tales to why folk support clubs across the country. All part and parcel of the game’s rich tapestry.

We both know that Utd and Liverpool are not comparable as there are *millions* of people with no connection to those two club across the country apart from the fact they are successful - otherwise why isn’t every town full of Rovers fans or Villa fans or Everton fans.

Even saying what I did, glory supporters are tossers, I agree. Here in Coventry, I'd say the majority are Sky Blue fans, even after all the dramas they had. Attendances are up and down but you see most kids in Coventry City kits. All the west African immigrants I've worked with support either Arsenal or Chelsea.

You'd hate Bedfordshire Mattyblue. I spent my secondary school and university years there, and all the big London clubs, Man Utd and Liverpool were supported. Only a couple supported Luton Town, and my dad knew one Bedford Town season ticket holder. Tottenham was probably the most popular London club.
