Valconite Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) Best for all parties. Bad injury record for the short time he was contracted which is a shame. Edited February 17 by Valconite 4 Quote

Eddie Posted February 17 Posted February 17 We have hopefully saved ourselves a bit of money and he has the chance to go somewhere and actually play some football. Showed glimpses of his ability and was certainly one of the best finishers at the club. His lack of pace was a major issue and made it difficult for him to make a position his own. His constant injury problems also derailed any opportunities to build form and consistency. Made sense why we signed him, it was worth a punt, but didn't work out. 4 Quote
roversfan99 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 An absolute mess to see a player unregisterer because we had too many players and had to be paid off. But hes been crap for us. Made of glass, slow, soft and a huge disappointment. Quote
davulsukur Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Could have been a decent player but just plagued with injuries, so he's not really going to be missed. Feels like the club handled this badly though and it clearly agitated Eustace when he was here. Quote
dallydally Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Good riddance. Trained in the Vince Grella academy 2 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted February 17 Backroom Posted February 17 Talent, yes, application, no. The occasional flash of excellence but only really useful as an impact sub on the rare occasions he was fit. Might be useful in another league, if he can get back to proper fitness, but don't think he's suited to a physical league like the Championship. 4 Quote

Admiral Nelsen Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Lad is an excellent finisher. Didn't see any other aspect of his game which was up to scratch - be it through ability or attitude. Wish him the best, but he was the obvious casualty if we had to trim the squad by 1. 1 Quote

What would have been better, not signing one of the other players so we could keep someone we don't need? Quote

Although, im not sure Woodrow needed to be signed. Quote
BlackburnEnd75 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Peaked in his first month. After that he was mostly injured with the occasional flash of talent. Not worth the wages at the end of day. Could've worked out differently but ultimately better for both sides to move on. 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted February 17 Backroom Posted February 17 A shame as there’s talent there and as above either way to get to this scenario is chronic mismanagement, we’ll likely have paid up the bulk of what he’d have got if he was here. 5 Quote

We've had this argument a number of times already. He can only go somewhere where the window is still open this season. (I think) 2 Quote
benhben Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Think he could have done a decent job in the no 10 or free role position cantwell plays. I'd wager he'd chip in with more goals than Cantwell who isn't exactly tearing it up. Never fit though unfortunately. Always wondered how injured he actually was or just didn't fancy sitting on the bench. 1 Quote

Like me playing tonight I show flashes of brilliance but return to slug fest mode quickly 2 Quote

unleaded Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Looks like he already had a deal set up with Swedish club Malmo who were all ready to take him during Jan but he refused now he will get a signing on fee plus his wages ….5 Games all season all sub appearances …. good Riddance… 5 Quote
