Similarly you can't expect him to make up for Diaz's goals in his first full senior season. Usually you would be expected a player in his position to be contributing the odd goal here or there off the bench, not be leading the line.

If he's got anything about him he'll score in this team - we were creating chances for fun post-Christmas, we just didn't have a #9 with any movement / strikers instinct / finishing ability to put them away. 

Asking anyone to score 13+ from LW is a big ask - but conversely if my LW can create and provide more to the team than Brereton-Diaz did it can even out with the right #9.

I will say it's a tiny forward line - and team in general. With no reinforcements we're going to get bullied at set pieces.
