Mattyblue Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 (edited) For something different for her career, her coaching and CV, for lifestyle, for money (oh and it is a proper football country in the women’s game, and it has been for far longer than it has over here). Backroom Silas Posted August 20, 2023 Backroom Posted August 20, 2023 Well, Rovers had a man sent off and got beaten. England Rugby had a man sent off and were absolutely pummelled. I'm pretty worried about a hattrick of misery here. Fingers crossed the women buck the trend. 1 Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Bronze running out of position into heavy traffic. Spain open the scoring. Quote
jim mk2 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Brilliantly worked by Spain made the most of gap left by Bronze Much the better team at the moments Quote

That wasn't so much a hole more a giant crater left at RB. Take some coming back from this with their dominance on the ball. Quote

jim mk2 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Spain could be 3 up You can see Barcelona philosophy in the way they play, mastery of the ball, strong in possession, pressing high and the 7 second rule of trying to get the ball back when they lose it Quote
Darrenbot Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 James has to come on at HT,she can make something out of nothing. 2 Quote

Was just about to say this, she has that bit of power and skill we’re missing atmo. We’ve been playing nervous all game, and Spain have used it to their advantage to pull us from pillar to post. Need someone who can settle our nerves, get their foot on the ball and take advantage of any runs Hemp and Russo can make. Otherwise we’re relying on set pieces and there aren’t many options n the women’s game. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 has this performance been any worse or better than previous performances? What options do we have the bench to change it? Quote
Sweaty Gussets Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 England have been poor so far but they've still been able to get at Spain. It's not over yet. Hemp reminds me of Duff! What a player she is. Quote
philipl Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Spain have looked good getting to the Final and have proven so in the Final. England now a very remote shot to win. PS Spain has some gorgeous looking women in that side. 1 Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Watching this Spanish team it's a shame diving has crept into the game - the honesty was one of the few charms it had as a spectator sport. 3 Quote
