Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 My take on the “ optimum thread “ - maybe we won’t go down this season. 1 Quote

booth Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 https://www.besoccer.com/team/injuries-suspensions/blackburn-rovers-fc I've no idea how accurate that is but if we do have those players coming back between mid January and mid February, you'd hope some of them could make a difference. How's that for optimism? 2 Quote

RoverDom Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 This thread has gotten dusty! To try and force a little bit of hope back into people. We're 8 points off relegation and 11 points off 6th. We've got a game in hand over most so if we win that we're 11 off relegation and 8 off 6th. Players coming back from injury and a couple of good signings in the next 24 hours or so and we're back on track. Anyone? Anyone at all? 1 Quote

At the time many of us said we needed a proper manager. We would have been promoted if they'd just given us that. Bonkers and sums up the idiotic owners. 5 Quote

Mattyblue Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Right team, wrong manager or vice versa, alas we’ve never had both at the same time under this lot. 4 Quote
philipl Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Win the 13 remaining games and we get to 77 points. Well it does say the optimism thread... 3 Quote

We should have got promoted but we didn't. FFS. Who would have thought back then we would still be here.. Back to the thread.. We beat Norwich 5-0 at home on the weekend Quote
ScorpioRover Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 i think if we beat Newcastle on Tuesday night we should get an automatic promotion spot 2 Quote

Anyone know how many tickets we’ve sold? Haven’t seen much marketing for this fixture at all amidst all the relentless fake positivity surrounding the new manager on social media & the website. If we can’t sell tickets for a game against a “glmaorous” Premier League & Champions League side what hope have we got? Quote
Mattyblue Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Jack Walker isn’t looking horrendously bad, I suppose. I imagine most tickets will be sold over the weekend and then Monday/Tuesday. But yes, big bumper last 16 crowd it won’t be. Lets have it right this club is in the doldrums, big time. Quote
