Heard about this lad when he was at Fleetwood as he was rated as the best ever to come through their ranks. Looks a real player and can't quite fathom how Bournemouth can't find a place for him in their starting 11.

What a pass to send Brittain away!

The great thing about Hill playing where he is, we can go 3 at the back without subbing anyone.

He gives us another tall.player in a league where oppositions tiurn up with several.players well over 6ft and in Cardiff case sub off two big lads and bring on two even bigger lumps.

Plus his long throws add basic variety to our more sophisticated play.

Harwood-Bellis, Branthwaite, van Hecke, Tosin Adarabioyo - defenders seem to go on to better things once going through a loan at Rovers. Although Branthwaite wasn't good for us, the choices have been pretty good, which hasn't been quite the same with other positions in the team.

Well, I'm already starting to think I was wrong about Hill.

Looks a quality signing and the sort of leader we've been lacking.

Even when all our centre backs are available - I'd have him in the team.

Yeah, he's a brilliant defender. 

We tend to go 3 at the back when in possession and Hill/Carter/Hyam looks a very good defence.

He’s got a bit of pace about him and he obviously likes defending.

I really like what I've seen of Hill so far, seems a good positive presence off the pitch too, great attitude. He was getting really stuck in yesterday, bit of leadership too, great to see.

I really hope we do and money can be found.

This lad's value will rocket over the next year or two.

There's not much this lad hasn't got in his locker.

I can't imagine there's any possibility of that. I'm more finding myself hoping there's no January recall clause...
