Commondore Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 23 year old striker from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Never heard of him before, but he's apparently made mincemeat of the lower German divisions (Regionalliga is the German fourth tier). Hope he'll come good on Championship level as well. 1 Quote

Ossydave Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Quietly excited about this one. There's been some doubts over the standard of league he's come from, Germany has 90 teams in the Regionalliga. It's bloody tough to make the big time and all the talent usually gets hoovered up by Bayern etc. The fact he got a deal at a solid Bundesliga team suggests he's definitely got talent. He's rapid, he's big, 2 big plus points in the championship. 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 i reckon he`s another shefki kuqi type, big, fast and agressive, nobody muscled kuqi off the ball, this lad looks like he`s the same, german football much like ours, everything is competetive and the players are always in shape Quote

ageoftherover Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 One swallow doesn't make a pornstar, but the goal he scores @ 5minutes in this video is a worldie in any division. 4 Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I'll be honest and say I can't wait to see him in action, as I am curious about any unknown signing. I'd much rather sign a young striker who is left field than some dobber who has been to 15 clubs and never really done anything e.g. Zahora, Carroll. 3 Quote
davulsukur Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 If he's got pace, he's a winner in my book! Let's hope JDT works his magic with this lad. 2 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Does anyone know if he fills up one of the 4 spots for work permit exemption? Quote

den Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I have to wonder why a 23yr old fast and powerful goal scorer is still playing in the 4th division of the German league. Quote

ItsRoverZ Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Played 60 minutes and grabbed a hatrick, well done to him, hopefully his hunger for goals really drives him on 3 Quote
Andy Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Definitely knows where the goal is. Debut goal on Sat would be amazing 👍 5 Quote
philipl Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Everything in his background says he is a punt who was a long way down Greg's shopping list. Sometimes punts come good spectacularly. Everyone at Rovers deserves a big lucky break. Let's hope he at least has a Jon Stead like instant impact. 3 Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 What we've seen of him in interviews etc he seems to have a real drive, was ready to come here to really push on professionally and play games, obviously had something about him to be picked in BM squad at times. Really exciting to see how he gets on. 2 Quote
Guest Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Give him a go! How else are we going to see if he is a prospect in this league? It would be a good test against the likes of Lenihan and the Boro back line in any case. Quote
