23 year old striker from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Never heard of him before, but he's apparently made mincemeat of the lower German divisions (Regionalliga is the German fourth tier). Hope he'll come good on Championship level as well.

Quietly excited about this one.

There's been some doubts over the standard of league he's come from, Germany has 90 teams in the Regionalliga. It's bloody tough to make the big time and all the talent usually gets hoovered up by Bayern etc. The fact he got a deal at a solid Bundesliga team suggests he's definitely got talent. He's rapid, he's big, 2 big plus points in the championship.

I'll be honest and say I can't wait to see him in action, as I am curious about any unknown signing. I'd much rather sign a young striker who is left field than some dobber who has been to 15 clubs and never really done anything e.g. Zahora, Carroll.

I have to wonder why a 23yr old fast and powerful goal scorer is still playing in the 4th division of the German league.

Because he isn't yet good enough to play in the Bundeslige.

On 25th January 2023, he came on for the last 3 minutes  of the Bundesliga game v Augsburg. So officially he has played in the Bundesliga

Everything in his background says he is a punt who was a long way down Greg's shopping list.

Sometimes punts come good spectacularly.

Everyone at Rovers deserves a big lucky break. Let's hope he at least has a Jon Stead like instant impact.

What we've seen of him in interviews etc he seems to have a real drive, was ready to come here to really push on professionally and play games, obviously had something about him to be picked in BM squad at times.

Really exciting to see how he gets on.

Give him a go! How else are we going to see if he is a prospect in this league? It would be a good test against the likes of Lenihan and the Boro back line in any case.

Definitely knows where the goal is.

Debut goal on Sat would be amazing 👍

Striker scores a goal and that would be amazing? Really?
