I think ideas of him going on a run are beyond fanciful. He has always looked well out of his depth, another symptom of the owners cutting budgets beyond reasonable levels.

Is that the issue? In training we level out into looking like a balanced squad.  Some weeks Telalovic gets 5 and some weeks Pears looks a brick wall

Yes, but we clearly needed at least one more striker.

That was widely acknowledged last Summer, and that’s why Telalovic was signed at the death.

Yes we needed 2 strikers last summer. 

Telalovic was scouted and know by Rovers scouts before last summer. Rovers scouts and recruitments department can watch any football they want and any clips are available through Wyscout

To be fair to Telalovic, Farke gave him his Bundesliga debut not too long before we bought him.
And he clearly has a knack for scoring goals at a lower level.

He's not the non-league waste of space some would have you believe.

I can't believe he'd have done any worse than Gallagher over the last several games.

People go on about Telalovic being a german level 5 player. We signed him from Borussia Munchengladbach.

He played about 3 minutes for Moenchengladbach. He had been playing in the German 4th division in front of a man and his dog. And based on his appearances for us, it shows.

He'd been playing at a higher level than Jamie Vardy (with a similar scoring record), prior to him signing for Fleetwood.

Rough diamonds are out there.
Telalovic probably isn't one of them, but it's sometimes worth a punt.

And to be fair again, he's hardly had any game time. So, not had a fair crack of the whip.
