roversfan99 Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 I think ideas of him going on a run are beyond fanciful. He has always looked well out of his depth, another symptom of the owners cutting budgets beyond reasonable levels. 1 Quote

martonrover Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Signed as a result of Broughton being in a state of complete panic on transfer deadline day because we still hadn't signed a striker. 1 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Let;s face it, if this guy had come through our academy, he'd have been binned off long before he was offered a pro contract. He's awful and symptomatic of Broughton. Quote
tomphil Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 The striker pool below Gallagher now consists of Telalovic, Vale and Leonard. That says everything you need to know about operation downgrade. 4 Quote

Rovers scouts and recruitments department can watch any football they want and any clips are available through Wyscout Quote
roversfan99 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Lets hope we dont have to scout the German pub leagues this summer. Quote
Andy Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 To be fair to Telalovic, Farke gave him his Bundesliga debut not too long before we bought him. And he clearly has a knack for scoring goals at a lower level. He's not the non-league waste of space some would have you believe. I can't believe he'd have done any worse than Gallagher over the last several games. 3 Quote

roversfan99 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 He played about 3 minutes for Moenchengladbach. He had been playing in the German 4th division in front of a man and his dog. And based on his appearances for us, it shows. 1 Quote

Andy Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 He'd been playing at a higher level than Jamie Vardy (with a similar scoring record), prior to him signing for Fleetwood. Rough diamonds are out there. Telalovic probably isn't one of them, but it's sometimes worth a punt. Quote

Whilst Gallagher plods on the way he does. 3 Quote
