He is a good player but throughout there were huge gaps between our midfield and defence.

His issues here have been with fitness. I'm not gonna keep waffling on about it but nothing has suggested in his time at Rovers that he's made of glass like you say. Judge him on his time here not his alleged injuries somewhere else.

I won’t be judging Telalovic on todays performance.

Boro dominated the game when he came on and if Sammie scores his hat-trick, he would have had an assist on his debut.

I thought it was a wonderful ball from Leonard. Telalovic did the right thing by going high (the GK rushed out), but just put it over.

telalovic is nothing like markanday,he`s a lot bigger and a lot quicker,you can`t expect him to start ripping up the division when he`s barely played first team football and not at all in england

Obviously I didn’t mean he was like for like style of markanday , I meant it was a similar market , trying to convince us he was our long term striker target is laughable. 
 

if you read my post I said it’s always nice to get a win (3 points) but you know that a Plymouth or rotherham type is just waiting next game, we have no ability to go on a run. It’s a win one lose one kinda season for us

However, I have noticed over the years that quite a lot of Rovers fans seem to have to have someone to pick on. Jason Lowe, Keith Andrews, Elliot Bennett to name but three. There always has to be one.

well im`e happy with the level we are at,even in the games we`ve lost we have been the better side and should have buried rotherham before half time

Well Hirst was written of here too... but think Telalovic showed more the minutes he played than Hirst did all half season with us.....think its more due to disappointment in not getting a proper ready striker...instead getting a young prospect striker. We'll see.

Well...

 

Rovers are certainly not boring or easy to watch. Today had everything really, poor refereeing, goals, good football, bad football, good defending and bad... As much as every fan wants to get promoted it's a bloody good league. 

 

Look what a win can do for everyone's spirits, confidence and expectations. Today and many times this season I have seen something from our players to suggest they're good enough to take this league by the scruff of the neck and really give some teams a battering. Obviously the common theme is not taking our chances and today we should of given Boro a proper hiding 4 or 5 nil. When the 2nd went in I really felt that if we pressured them harder, they would of capitulated, I could see the confidence draining out of them in front of my eyes... Their heads had gone, the body language was negative but although it was a poor refereeing decision, we typically gave them chances to allow them back into the game. What should of been a comfortable pasting of a team shot of confidence turned into a typical nail biting hanging on of a game. Regardless, the 3 points is all that matters and we fully deserved it. 

 

I thought everyone played well, with the exception of Dolan who I've stuck up for quite a bit but he simply offered nothing at all. 

 

I'm a massive fan of Callum Brittain and he looked absolutely superb today. People may laugh but I genuinely believe he's one of ours that could move on to the next level, hopefully with us of course. From what I'm told, his numbers in training are generally the best. It would be an absolute waste to see him drop out the side again and would personally rather see him ahead of Pickering when JRC is back as I think he's performed better than Pickering at left back. 

 

Sammie is really turning into our main man and is seemingly stepping up to be the main source of goals that we needed. 

 

On Telalovic, I maintain high hopes but he didn't look ready for it contrary to the managers words. Even so, he should have still had an assist on his debut for Sammie and had he had made one driving sprint for a ball that went across goal he could have had an easy tap in aswell. I'm sure JDT can work his magic with him and get him up to speed eventually. 

 

We have a good, young, hardworking, talented set of players with plenty of ability. Fine, we haven't spent as much as some sides but there still aren't many with the quality we have either. 

 

We're a good side, usually the better side, with lots of reasons to be optimistic, hopefully our manager see's it the same way.

When looking at games....we had one sent of early in the loss against Hull and almost got a draw..... the loss at Plymouth was tough to take....missing great chances being the better team.....

 

If we get a good result on wednesday against Sunderland.....then this team has done quite well with the players involved.

For me, him, Carter and Wharton are the three who I think are more likely to make the step up.
