Infuriating and wretched. Hence the reason the former manager decided to do one. Fed up of the lies and false promises no doubt, but us fans are stuck with it, until the decide to move on and leave the car crash behind for us.

roversfan99
The £1.4m will be the likes of Wahlstedt, O'Riordan and Telalovic. Not that the 25 accounts will show much more. Cantwell, Kargbo, Toth, Gueye and Ohashi so probably at most £3m.
MB Rover
“Blackburn Rovers would be an attractive proposition” if the Venky’s were to sell. So anyone asking who would buy us, can swivel once and for all.

Anyone saying otherwise is a cretin plain and simple. Also nice to have it confirmed by the club in writing, in the accounts no less, that the owners need to obtain a "no objection certificate" prior to sending over any funds. I'm not usually one to go tooting my own horn but to those who argued with me about that point, fucking swivel.

Seems someone on here, doesn’t understand what the word impediment means.
broadsword
I've just never felt so bloody despondent about the whole thing. If rovers was the point of Guinness day in front of me, venkys is like a dash of Pimm's some idiot has poured in. You know they're there but you can't see them, you try to pretend your pint doesn't have pimms in, because it still looks the same but Jesus Christ it leaves a tremendously bad taste in the mouth. Nobody asked you if you wanted Pimm's in your pint, and the idiot behind the bar tried to tell you it's a good thing. You desperately want to get the bloody stuff out but it seems impossible and you start wondering if the best thing to do is or the fucker down the drain and go to IKEA instead

Surely that shows a total lack of understanding regarding accounting treatment. The (pure) profit on Wharton will 100% go into the accounts on an accrual basis, timing of payments is irrelevant. And Szmodics was sold after the accounting year. Also, is there a chance that the highest paid director is Suhail? He’s not listed as a director so I don’t think it can be. The figures from the accounts are for the executive directors. These are listed on the club’s website as Waggott, Gandhi Babu and M Sreenivasa Rao. Suhail Shaikh is a ‘mere’ Chief Operating Officer.
RoverDom
£3.3m profit but we don't have FFP headroom to invest a little bit of money in a play off push.

They've been there now for years and have just worn away. It's a pretty poor do when the club can't even be arsed to ensure the owners' boards are replaced and look decent. The ones on the JW lower look a right mess on TV and visiting clubs/dignitaries will be looking at the ones on the Riverside all match covered in grime. The signage on the BBE - the display for the Ronnie Clayton BBE - looked smart when it was first done over a decade ago - but inevitably it is now starting to wear away - there are bits missing and falling off. Just a mess. What winds me up when watching on Sky is any time they show the dugout for either team you can see the clubs crest on the seats all peeled and faded, it looks shocking and wouldn’t be much to sort it

I'm surprised we have a working printer.

Cuppliance Posted Friday at 08:28 Share Posted Friday at 08:28 Not fully sure of what the implications of an independent regulator for owners would be but Reading MPS are currently pushing for one. That town's club has had it's fair share of turmoil which looks to be nearing an end soon. Platek is already involved in the ownership of two other clubs, these people have no love for the game or the places they represent. Also I believe he is largely to blame for the Dell shit show.
