As with the EFL rules, I believe the PL disqualifies people from acquiring a club but not from owning one (if it’s already theirs).

As it stands aren't they still not guilty ?

I presume they had to be found guilty in order to have had property seized in India.

But have they been convicted ?

We're one of only SEVEN clubs to have won the league since 1992.

We've always been an attractive proposition. Anyone saying otherwise is a cretin plain and simple.

Also nice to have it confirmed by the club in writing, in the accounts no less, that the owners need to obtain a "no objection certificate" prior to sending over any funds. I'm not usually one to go tooting my own horn but to those who argued with me about that point, fucking swivel.

If you want to go deeper, we're one of only 15 clubs to win ANYTHING this century (not counting L2, L1, Championship titles).

Only club to have won a major domestic trophy in three different centuries.

For clarification they have not been found gullty of anything at this stage and may well not be. They are currently under investigation and any freezing of assets is to protect the authorities during the investigation. If they aren't found to be in breach of any regulations then the said property will have the restriction removed. When they say siezed they don't actually take the property away from them, a charge or restriction will be placed on the property which prevents them from selling, transferring or raising capital against the asset.

Also, note that this not a criminal investigation.

Out of curiosity, which clubs (if any) would be in the running to match that feat if they won a trophy this century?

To take that a stage further, we are the only club to have won major domestic trophies (plural) in three different centuries.

Have we won two in the 21st century ?

Is everyone ready for tomorrow's non-event ? Or will it be different this time ?

Unlike every other year, Rovers have published their accounts early. Also unlike every other year, the accounts show a profit.

Maybe they will be presenting these to the court as evidence - "We no longer need to send funds to the UK. Can we have our seized assets back please ?"
