That's probably the most appropriate sponsor for this club under venkys.

Repair a few potholes when what really needs to be done is a full reconstruction because the whole thing is completely fucked.

Probably based at the Gypsy camp at Ewood.

I stand to be corrected but I'm pretty sure debt levels are totally irrelevant when it comes to FFP calculations, especially when there is no immediate demand or plan for repayment of those debts and they are almost all to the owners anyway.

What is important is incomings and outgoings. Thankfully we've brought in excess of £40 million through sales since summer 2023 which comfortably outstrips whatever advantage better run clubs get on us via bigger ticket sales.

So about time we stop falling for the Venky/Waggott trap of blaming FFP and pointing at the fact other clubs get parachute cash and bigger crowds. We've outstripped that and then some in the last 12 months and yet have just cut back more and more.

Correct, P&S (FFP) is about debt serviceability not the quantum.

I don't do religion. But if I were a praying man I'd be pleading with whichever God might influence a court outcome that leads to Venkys having no option but to sell the club.

Is there such an outcome that would best bring about that scenario?

And can anyone recommend a God with a good track record in influencing such things?!

If the few fans who still go to Ewood actually give a fuck then there needs to be direct action in every single game.

Flood the pitch with tennis balls, walkouts, sit ins whatever is needed.

Make it so that no match can be completed because of constant disruption. Shine the lights on venkys and their stooges. Ewood should be a place they fear to go anywhere near.

"Constant disruption" leads to points deductions for the club and criminal prosecutions for those involved. Your suggestion would not help anybody.

Could also help the club survive in the longer term and draw wider attention to our plight as well.

What exactly do you mean by "our plight" ?

Do you think our owners are doing even an average job of running the club?

Venky's ownership? Have you enjoyed how it's gone under them??

I don't know if this is tongue in cheek, but have you not noticed we have a few issues here and there and that is putting it mildly.

Perhaps you are happy with the way the club is being run, but I think you will find you are in the minority, if that is the case.

Its all good eh Mashed?.. NO Rovers fan would come out with a comment like that.

I've been a Rovers fan for over 60 years so require no lectures from you as to what they say or feel.

For your benefit, and others above, I think the club has been run very poorly by the owners. My reply was to a very vague posting about bringing our "plight" to "wider attention", apparently through disruption to matches, which I pointed out has in the past led to points deductions and criminal prosecutions . What plight and whose attention was not explained. Given that in the next few months the government are bringing in legislation for some form of regulation of football under the aegis of an Independent Regulator those arguing for "action" would be best advised to work out what grievances they might want to take to the Regulator.

Good to see you acknowledge the 'plight' our Club is in..that was clearly the point being alluded to.No lecture was given to you.

So, if you’ve been a Rovers fan for such a long time and agree that the owners have done a poor job in running us, why exactly did you need this to be highlighted?

Couldn’t you just have taken that from use of the word ‘plight’?

I think if you really want to go to a wider audience you are going to need to be a lot more specific about things that you think are not right about the club if you want to be taken seriously. At the moment it's so vague that people are just going to look at the recent run of disappointing results and think "just another entitled supporter who can't deal with defeat".

I honestly don’t think anyone on here, would mistake a few bad results as a plight, compared to 10 years of what must be close to the worst owners ever in English football.

I wasn't referring to the people on here. I was referring to this wider audience that KHod wants to reach out to - and what they might think.

Sorry I forgot, everything is fine. Carry on getting behind the lads because that's done so much for us over the last 14 years.

You'll be leading this disruption then, will you ?

Nah I'm in the 12000 strong majority that refuses to have the piss taken out of them.

You won't catch me anywhere near Ewood whilst these cunts are about.

Keep getting behind the lads, you're making a difference.
